In other news, I too found Salvage and Stealth BB at Target tonight, $7 a head! I might try to rub the yellow stripes off BB, maybe do a head swap, and rename him as a Decepticon. Similarly, I plan on un-pimping Salvage so he looks more like his bio makes him sound.

got a very small haul whilst on my way to the parents. i had to leave crazy early due to circumstances out of my control so i doubt i'll be picking up any of the joe vehicles as i'd planned... anyway

 

 

really surprised to find the viper. the hands are annoying, but they're managable, deffinatly need a few more. as for ol' stockade, meh. i'm taking him back to target first chance i get. don't like him at all. the transformation is way too simple, and i can't stand the monkey arms. other than that he's an ok bot, good head, awesome hands, just not my cup o' tea though.

Had to grab movie Salvage and Stealth Bumblebee last night, $7 each was too good to pass up. BB looks fantastic in black, I might remove the yellow stripes- rubbing alcohol? I've tried that elsewhere and it didn't seem to work.

 

I might also put a different head on him and make him a Decepticon. I like to think that there are certain 'cons that like to assume a different-colored version of a given Autobot's alt mode, just to screw with him. That's how I rationalize repaints.

 

Anyway, Salvage took some more work. Like I did with Dropkick, I ditched the bed cover/claw weapon and painted the inside of the truck bed black. Then I trimmed his front bumper to remove the lower air dam, in an effort to un-pimp him so he looks more like his bio makes him sound- a slightly ratty work truck, not a showy sport-truck. I'll do more of that to him soon.

 

BTW, the wording and logo on his driver's side door is a little crooked; I wish I'd noticed that before I bought him, so watch out for it.

 

I heart movie Deluxes!

The yellow stripes aren't painted on Stealth BB, it's the black that is painted... unless you want BB to be all yellow?

Stealth BB has black paint on yellow plastic... You cannot remove the yellow stripes unless you want the car to be all yellow.
