Beast Era Cybertronian Modes

Recommended Posts

In BW all we see is shadowy figures in the first epasode and Agenda. pic

In BM all the Cybertronians are resycled G1 Models, Nightscream looked just like Rumble or Frenzy. Pic

In DW BW the Cybertronain modes are Warwithin-esqe. pic

In Botcon 2000's Reaching the Omegapoint the Cybertronians had beast modes

In BWII the Maximals had wierd nontransformable bodies, and the Predacons had sleek Cybertronian Vehicle forms. pic

what is the fandoms thoughts on Beast era Cybertronian modes, are they vehicles just like G1, or do they even transform at all?

don't forget the comic pages from MTMTE, we see Dinobot and Megatron (he just chose this name) in their cybertronian robot modes

I think it is important to remember that in the cartoon bits you mentioned, those characters were basically thrown together to flesh out the scene, no thought was ever given to tfing them, because they didn't NEED to for the purpose they were intended for.

That said, I think it could go either way. I think the single mode forms are temporary measures to get robot usable and not saddle him with a altmode which may not be usable (if the Maximals had been given a two mode conversion, it might been too dificult to convert them to a beast mode).  But for normal Cybertronians, they probably use the same aesthetic they always have for their Cybertronian alt modes.

well near the end of g1 were started to see robotic beast modes so i asume they were all like that just smaller

Does anyone have Scans of Cybertronian Megatron and Dinobot?

I think the bw era tf where just smaller cybertrions.  Still able to transform, but some still were like in the action master era.... So they don't transform....

well, since they'd just come from Cybertron, I'd assume those "shadowy figures" were their Cybertronian forms.... which happened to closely resemble their newly-scanned Earth forms.

um.. actually, the bot in that pic looks like a Soundwave KO.   And this is Nightscream: http://tfu.info/2000/Maximal/Nightscream/nightscream.htm

I see T-Rex Megatron and Magmatron there..  wtf are you smoking?

[edit]Dragon Megs, Magmatron.. either way, they're not "war within-esque".  :P[/edit]
