I fully expect Prowl to be released initially in Early July.

Many have claimed "this is it for Alternators! It's over!! OVER!!!"

 

But to me, I don't really think it is over yet, I think we'll see 2 more new molds and 4 remolds/repaints MINIMUM past what we already know of before the end of Alts/BTs.

 

So don't worry...it's all about the patience.

well, i went to a target close to me and they had alts clearanced to 10.88... i bought them all and now they aren't carrying them anymore... they took away the space that had "TRANSF ALT 19.99" from the shelf... so who knows.

That only means that they aren't selling in your area. Each store is responsible for managing its own inventory. I can tell you that the Alts are definitely not going for 10.88 at my Target... unfortunately.

Yeah, we get good distribution in my area, thank god, and they actually sell, so I consider myself pretty lucky.  On the one hand we never get clearances, but I'm happy paying full price with the knowledge that there'll be a new Alt on the shelves every month or two. 

 

I really wouldn't be surprised if Hasbro did try to squeeze three or even four repaint/tools out of every Alt mold so far, and I like 'em so much I'll probably just keep lapping them up, which is fine.  I don't feel like I'm getting ripped off as long as I enjoy my purchase. 

 

So, that means that, including Prowl and his ultimate remold, that's 17 Alts x 2 = at least another two year's worth of repaints.

that toyfare article that listed wheeljack & prowl for may was just that. AN ARTICLE. it was mainly based on how g1 guys are making a comeback. they just threw in the "may release" to seem up to date. my guess is that they have no clue when prowl will be out. but what do you think if toyfare put an article out about the g1 homage and you see a d.charge instead of prowl. everyone would go nuts.

 

IMO, the line will probably pump out @ least 2 more by the end of the year for the holidays. unless, i'd hate to even think of it, they hold swerve & prowl for that.

 

1 more thing, i heard from a target employee that 1 reason some targets stop carrying alts is because they WERE flying off the shelves...

Dude, the only way Target would stop carrying Alts altogether is if they had racist messages scrawled across the outside of the car.

So you're saying they were being stole a lot huh? Hehehe...yeah, I know what you mean. Back before Wal-Mart and KayBee quit carrying the Alts. I saw several models posing as Alts.
