Keeping TF boxes

Recommended Posts

I keep everything. But the more space they consume, the more I'm tempted to gut the insides and just flatten out the boxes and cards for more consise storage.

i keep boxes for anything that was HTF, but when it comes to shelfwarmers i say "to hell with it"

actually, the box for bruticus maximuss' tank leg didn't even make it to the car the other day, i threw it away in the trash can outside wallycron after i opened it walking out the door.

i, i... just couldn't take it any more... :redface

i keep every box, card, buble and anything that comes with them, the only thing i throw away is the tape and tiwsty ties. I plan on using these as fillers on walls when i get a home for myself.

i dont buy transformers for its monetary value or ever plan to sell them in the future. theres no point for me to keep the boxes and my room is small enough as it is without boxes cluttering up everything. however i do keep some of the cooler looking boxes ie MP1, SL bruticus, THS galaxy convoy, etc.....

and of course i keep all the instructions and cards. i use to collect trading cards and card games but nowadays that collection only grows when i get transformers  :redface

my reasons for keeping boxes:

A) makes the toy more valuable, plus have a space for uneeded accessories to be put in.  IE  Galaxy force force chips, instructions, extra missiles, etc.

B) when you move out of your place, theres no better place than to put them in their original packaging

C)  when your tired of the toy, or making room for others, putting them back in the box can save space.

haha, i even keep the bubble on the deluxe Armada's and RID's i have, just in case for the future.

A) i do that for my gundams  :thumb. good place to store spare parts and great box art

B) i should start thinking ahead more often.....  :redface

C) i just shove them all lovingly into one box stuffed away somewhere in my room

NOTE: a few years ago those toys for charity ppl called and my mom rummaged through my room and gave away that box of g1s, head masters, target masters, and beast wars figs  :eek

I keep every box.  Not too sure what I want to do with bubbles, yet.

Twist ties are evil.  Those, I toss.

I keep it all except for that one series (was it RID) where all the backing cards were the same.

I do the evil *shred shred*

I keep 'em.  No specific reason except that I tend to be kind of a pack rat.  I keep all my import ones in my bedroom closet, but the domestic ones get put downstairs.

I keep all my boxes. Because:

1-they come in handy if I move.

2-The Takara box art is so damn cool.
