2006 Movie title revealed?

Recommended Posts

I don't think anyone should believe that is the title of the movie.  If it is, I'll have lost all hope of this movie being any good.

uhh..what would you want the movie to be called?

it SHOULD just be Transformers the movie

Of course, that would throw the entire TF fandom into confusion and chaos as it debates how to distinguish the first TF:TM from the second TF:TM.

...What's wrong with just calling the movie "Transformers"?

Yanno.. like.. "X-men" or "Spiderman"?

That's what that poster seems to say to me.. but hey.. whatever. :nuts

Because everyone would say "Hey, Transformers the Movie is coming out!" Cue weird looks and consolations of "Sorry man, that movie came out in the 80s."

NOW people can say, "Hey! "Transformers, Robots in Disguise"is coming out!"

Cue screams and chest bumps.

I think if you took a poll of the general public and asked them "did you know that there was a Transformers movie in theaters in 1986?" you might not get such a high "yes" response as you're imagining.

Personally, I like the idea of this being called "Transformers: The Movie." It gives it that extra added touch of cheesiness. ("Spaceballs: The Lunchbox! Spaceballs: The Coloring Book! Spaceballs: The Flamethrower!") :tflaugh

BTW I'm glad to see that you remembered my idea GZ. :D

To me, it looks like "TRANSFORMERS: The Movie" is the title.

"Robots in Disguise" looks like the tag line. You know, the single sentence that describes the movie.

After all, the (horrible, admittedly) Tristar Godzilla movie was just called "Godzilla", not "Godzilla: Size Does Matter"...

All the negativity that's in this fandom sucks!!!

Tell me about it. :tfevil

Well, if it's going to be a trilogy, and the fact that we have "Transformers: The Movie" already, I think a different name is required.

If it's TFTM again, this fandom WILL go crazy. Trust me, no one will know what movie you're talking about unless you say 1986 or 2006.

:roll :roll

I like:

"Transformers: The Movie: In Color: With Robots and people and explosions and stuff"

I like:

"Transformers: The Movie: In Color: With Robots and people and explosions and stuff"

How about shortening it to "Transformers: Cars, Robots And People"?

hey GenerationZero..... nice but that abbreviates to

TF:LAME
