Alt Prowl

Recommended Posts

Lets start a discussion thread and keep the R rated language away (one topic closed in the Kitbash forum for that ;)

Personally I dont think the method is bad but the choice of car they used it on is wrong, it makes him look fat, a mid engined supercar has a small front end and lends itself to the design much better, showing a muscular chest ala G1 Sideswipe as opposed to the middle aged spread prowl seem to have.

I am pleased to see a new mold and like the shoulders but the way he looks reminds me too much of the KO Crapobot

2 Door coupe import as a police cruisers. Why?? Yes Law Enforcement departments use coupes in their traffic patrol. But usually they are Mustangs or other larger vehicles. Why couldn't we see the repaint of Grimlock as Powl (A Mustang Highway patrol) and make the new Acura Wheeljack??

Okay now I am scared...please tell me that KO crapbot is not a Mitsubishi Lancer. Please Hasbro, don't tell me that our Lancer will have that same chest transformation!

I would like the new chest transformation that Prowl uses, but it exposes way too much around the face/neck area when you are not looking straight at him at eye level. Most of us put our Alts on desks or shelves lower than eye level, so that area around his face will look rather bland. Plus those hinges stick out a quite a bit as shown in other pics.

YIKES! Road-bots are scary...and IT IS A LANCER EVO!

Have you guys noticed Prowl weapons! the billy club looks too much like a light saber. I would have been fine with Prowl not having a sword or club.

But the gun is also pretty weak..is that flimsy, thin gray piece the engine? Becasue the back of the gun is so thin, it will look bad from any view except when right looking over it.

im ok with it, im waiting for better pictures before making my final judgement *cough*P.Prime*cough*

I would have preferred his doors to be the 'wing-doors' and the legs to be reverse so its car parts not engine underneath/stuff thats showing, but those look impossible to fulfil. I seriously hope he's mistransformed.

So, he has Wheeljack's chest...

And Downshift's legs, apparently.

if you look at him from thje back the legs look mistransformed as well

I personally don`t really like it for Prowl but for Streetwise hmmm. So what do you guys think? The first part for your Defensor Alternators Gestalts? That`s what I`ve been thinking since I first saw the proto shot the was just the car.
