"Code of a Hero"

Have to agree.. Beast Wars was the only reason why we've got Transformers back from mothballs. Tried to re-invent Masters of the Universe not to long ago.. and that went belly up.. -partly blame poor storytelling for that-.. But I have to say, in comparison to Prime's Death, it can't hold a candle to Dinobot's. Beast Episode of Beast Wars by far.. and usually I don't like it so much when they kill off characters. Still bitter about Tigerhawk/Airrazor/Tigatron.. three characters that we pretty much never got to see too much of.. pretty cool ones at that.

Can't say I care too much about Scorponok or Terrorsaur.. killing them was a blessing.

:pfx wise move on Scorponok and Terrorsaur biting it. They were one-note characters. A Transmetallized Terrorsaur would have only confused the story, given the direction they were going in.

BTW I also agree about Tigatron and Airrazor, though I never quite liked Tigerhawk. The whole "spark fusing" thing seemed a bit bizarro for me (especially since Tigerhawk looked and sounded a lot more like Tigatron than Airrazor). But again, the direction of the story was changing. Cheetor was maturing, and Blackarachnia was going to defect to the Maximals. If you watch the Season 2 episodes where Cheetor/Tigatron or Airrazor/Blackarachnia appear together, it just feels like there's one too many of each. But maybe that's just me.

I still think Tigerhawk would of been cool as a two part gestault sorta deal.. TM2 Tigatron and TM2 Airazor forming Tigerhawk seperate from each other.... but then it sorta takes away the whole point of merging them together..

But I agree with ya on thet Tigerhawk deal. Not enough Airrazor in the deal.. and with all that crazy voodoo that thing (he? she? it?) pulled off, it was probably fortelling that the character would not live long..

I guess they just shouldn't of been taken out of the show so soon.. I mean it was fine if you saw them on occasion.. but pulling them out into limboland? .. meh..

Tigerhawk's appearance brought closure to what happened to Tigatron and Airazor. They were good characters though. It was nice to see that both of them, especially Tigatron, were connected with the planet more and enjoyed it more than the others.

wow, code of the hero was one of the gretest episodes ever in BW. i was about 6. i still remember that episode, and BTW dinobots death was greater then primes in the movie. he died a hero

i have to agree that Dinobot's death was much better than Primal's.

i hate to say it but when theres pressure, Prime (primal whatever) most of the time screws up. now that i think of it , there were many times Primal could have killed Megatron. if it werent for primal being so sympathic, he could be an even better leader.

Very true.. like that whole truce bit that got him blown up in space.. but I think thats what sets him apart from other Primes and makes him unique. He's not all robotic, -no pun intended-.. it made him some what personable. He really wasn't even a commando sorta guy.. just a captain of a space craft in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Honestly it is the single best episode of any TF series... it matches if not betters the G1 prime's death...

I guess the reason for me, why dinobots death was better then Primal's is because Dinobot died the way he lived, with honour.. while primal died just by stupidity.. seriously... all the primes i've ever known had shown compassion... but Primal took it WAY too far...

And about the Beast Wars toy line... only the Character Toys were good... the rest were shocking... Wait only the Original BW/TM1 and TM2 were good... FUZORS WERE TERRIBLE.... even the character ones...

These toys set up the TF world we know today!
