First Draft of TTFM

On a side note, this script confirms that at least Soundwave will be in the cast. Op & Megs were always assumed.

I guess the toys are pretty much designed by now.

Gotta give HasTak credit. But it's as it should be, the Toys will dictate the look of the movie. How long until there's proto leaks. Anyone want to place some bets? :tfgrin

Mostly, yes. Some are just designs. Others are still being discussed with the various car companies. Remember how Mazda geeked out over getting a Transformer of their RX-8 last January? Basically announcing it six months before it came out. They're already planning something for 2006 that's bigger that that. They're as geeky as we are. I love it. :)

Wow check this out I was checking out semi tractors and found this monster that Western Star builds for the military a 6900 XD.

If prime wasn't a cabover style truck I could handle a big Military Truck like that.... :thumb

YE-AH!

A long-nosed truck would look better...I always thought the flat front truck looked weird in reality.

It's just what you are used to. Here in the Netherlands the long nosed trucks are an extreme rarity to see. In the USA it's the reverse I guess.

Guys, the movie won't be 3 friggen hours long. You people keep forgetting that this movie will be for small hyperactive children who can hardly sit still for an hour, let alone two. And seriously, who gives a damn if it's a flat nosed truck or not? it'll all work out the same.

twoo word: Harry Potter

Plus, kids don't rule the movie scene like they do with toys. According to Don, this movie will be geared towards PG-13.

Don then said later on that Prime will be just like 20th Prime, so snub-nosed it is!! :clap

do they even make those flat faced trucks anymore (I am pretty sure not) If they make him snub, hasbro wont have any problems with licensing. but I would be NICE if he got "reformatted" into something I see on the roads...

plus, there are no possible improvements to g1 prime after the MASTERPIECE, I want a new toy

(somebody tell don to make him GREEN :mwahaha )

They still make them below is a link to Peterbilt's Model 362 a few other companys still make them as well....

And on a side note that are called Cabover trucks :thumb

They do, but theyre getting harder to come by here in the States. Overseas, they're the only game in town. I drove cross-country in an Isuzu NPR moving van, its like a mini-snub nose and I can tell you from experience that they are a LOT easier to drive than a conventional.

And like someone else said (87 olds, i think) they're called cabovers, or COE which is an abreviation for Cab Over Engine. Although snub nose works also. I think they look cooler and more high tech, as opposed to the conventionals which seem more dated in styling. But thats me.

that military truck the 6900 xd would be great especialy if OPTIMUS did a (MASK) RHYNO style attack in ve hic ul mode

in britain they are all flat, i don't think i've ever seen a snub nose over here
