If you go to TFormers you can get the link to Don's post confirming that he received a shiny silver (uncopyable) script today, and read through it.

He seems to be answering questions about it in the same thread now.

I stoppped reading the thread as soon as it looked like Don was going to start giving stuff away.

If you're into spoilers go get a piece of the action...if not you may not want to read the whole thread.

Update from Don:

1) At least some of the Transformers arrive on Earth in prehistoric times.

2) Optimus Prime will be a long-nosed truck, not a flat-nosed semi, although Don later rectified that statement after major fanboy protests. He "didn't understand the question". Optimus WILL be a truck.

3. If the movie was shot from this script, it would be less than 2 hours long.

4. Soundwave will not be a tape deck, stereo, CD player or camcorder. Instead, he will have a "more conventional" form.

5. The Dinobots will NOT in the movie. And probably not in the sequel either.

Lol, they are already thinking of TF2? That is some of the better news.

does that mean a SCOURGE type truck??

Don confirmed that Optimus will appear as his G1 self. Which means a snub nose big rig.

Since Soundwave is going to appear in a more "conventional" alt mode (ie: non-tape recorder) i wonder what that means for Megatron?

I would be happy to see Megatron as something original, like a flak cannon or something.

I was hoping for more than 2 hours close a little less than LotR movie and a little more than star wars in time. Well maybe we'll see the dinobots in the third installment. :thumb

I guess the toys are pretty much designed by now.

Gotta give HasTak credit. But it's as it should be, the Toys will dictate the look of the movie. How long until there's proto leaks. Anyone want to place some bets? :tfgrin

Like a lamppost? :tflaugh

A long-nosed truck would look better...I always thought the flat front truck looked weird in reality.
