I'd still like to know what members get if they don't sign up until 2006.

You'll probably end up waiting to find that out. It seems they are trying to get more people to sign up now with all the little offers they got. Can't say I blame them after what happened with 3H.

My guess is another Bruticus repaint.

It will probably be a Energon Gest mix with the Superion and bruticus Limbs and either one of the torsos. That or a G1 Gestalt repainted.

I would like to join the club, but I feel that not enough information is being disclosed. For example, they're asking for $40, we are promised a 5-piece combiner exclusive, and have to wait 5 years for all the pieces, at a cost of $200!! As a Hardcore Generation One Fan & Collector, that has been to 3 major conventions, I feel that the fans deserve a little more. We got a raw deal w/ exclusive not being delivered from OTFCC, & do not want the same thing happening again.

Give us details as to atleast what the exclusive will be w/ pictures, in good faith, to make up for non-delivery of prior year's OTFCC's Conventions. Their is just too much at stake here, this being a new club, & fans are still being extremely cautious this time around, with a lot of mistrust. I speak on behalf of sentiment expressed on TFormers.com & TFans.com which I am an active member.

Will Fans of G1 get what they they've been waiting 20 years for? Does Hasbro or Takara know fans are dying to get these two pieces officially made? If Hasbro can not make these two pieces, will someone pass this on to Takara to make it for us?

 

I hope Hasbro/Takara takes their Transformers fans requests seriously, without us, there could be no ongoing Transformers line. We support you guys, but you guys need to listen to us, so that we may continue to support the Transformers line, so that it may continue to exist for future generations ;-)

 

Without Hasbro/Takara listening to the fans, it could spell disaster for the company, as fans get frustrated by not getting what they want, & they could stop buying all together. Make the toys the Fans want first, & we will continue to support you :-) It just makes financial sense to listen to the G1 Fans, b/c they are old enough to buy they're own toys & make decisions on supporting a toy line if they really want to, at a higher price point, thus earning Hasbro or Takara a higher profit. Thank you for listening.

If it's anything, Hasbro CAN'T keep listening to us. If they do, the line will die. We are not the majority in sales as I mentioned earlier. The kids are. And Hasbro needs to make the line appeal to them more than have it appeal to us.

i don't think that hasbro will have to listen to the kids.

because it's a collector's club, and the people who are

really collecting transformers where kids a long time ago.

i'm thinking in the g1 direction, which could be a recolor,

and hopefully not a reissue of monstructor. it is very rare,

but in my opinion also very ugly. perhaps there where more

combiners in the series that didn't make it as a toy,

either american or japanese. if this is true then it would be

perfect to give them with the membership.

maybe one of you knows if there are any

I would like to see this "20%" statistic in writing from a reputable source, Over 4,000 attended BotCon last year, & the majority of them were adults(over 18), not "Kids." And even if our fan base is only 20%, that still translates to million of dollars in profits.

 

Who said anything about listening to anything we want them to do? I only made 2 meager requests, even if you do not like it(you're entitled to your opinion), thousand's of other fans agree it should be made, which again translates to millions of dollars in profits for Hasbro or Takara.

As for the loyal fan base, that have eagerly been waiting for this cool Arcee toy since TFTM, If any company had the attitude, "We didn't give you what you wanted, but we'll just give you something that looks like her that transforms into a motorcycle, be happy with what you get," I don't see how any G1 fan can be satisfied with that kind of attitude from a company that we invest our hard earned dollars into every week, month, etc.

Yes we were talking about the club. We were speculating "what if they scrapped the gestalt idea" for the Collector's Club exclusive.
