Energon's wave 2 felt rare to me also until about a week ago and now I'm drowning in them. It was the same with E. Starscream. I couldn't find him for about a month and now he's cloging the shelves.

 

The whole E. Megs thing is a bit frustrating.

THat's interesting, did not know that was the case with E-megs and Walmart. Wow, perhaps Hasbro is trying to get a larger portion of the market and one of the agreement to their deal w/Walmart was to give them the time exclusive? I just hope it does not last too long.

the way walmart undercuts everyone else on the prices alone should be enough for them. i know i find some of my better deals at walmart so naturally, thats where i'm going to go get my figures. target makes some good price cuts once in a while so when i can't find anything at walmart, target is my next stop with toys r us coming in a sad 3rd....they almost NEVER mark anything down.

if hadnt already owned all current energon figs (cept prime, UM, megs, and repaints), i would have been in heaven the other day when i went to wal-mart! there toy isle had EVERY fig available! i do mean every as they had UM which i will be tryin to get this weekend (if he's still there)! megs looks sweet, but i'ma pass till galva comes through!

I am also disappointed in Hasbro because they said they were gonna start supporting other stores to help save them from Wal-Mart, only to give Wal-Mart a time exlcusive? Hasbro is talking out of both sides of it's *ss now.

Wal*Mart recently took over as the #1 toy retailer in America, knocking off TRU. Somehow I can't see Hasbro biting the hand that feeds them.

i wouldn't be surprised if toys r us ends up in some big financial troubles, that is if they aren't already. i think they waaaaay overprice the gen 1 reissues and they almost never have any worthwhile sales. walmart is kicking their rear ends and even target has better deals more often. the TRU store right by my house still has armada figures at regular price!

 

if i'm going to pay a lot for the gen 1 reissues i'm going to buy the takara versions. when i'm patient i can usually pull them off ebay for a song and theirs are nicer, as opposed to the rather cheap boxes the TRU versions come in.

If Wal*Mart & Hasbro struck a deal in the first place, we could have been looking at G1 reissues priced at $19.97!

Dispite that, TRU still carries more toys than Wal-Mart, making TRU more financially important to toy makers. You can fit the entire Wal-Mart toy section into just one section at TRU.
