Starscream's ghost BW

Recommended Posts

well, he couldn't take his own body because his spark was already in his body.... he couldn't take over himself when he was already there....

Even if he could, there would have been a problem and the entire G1 series would have to be rewritten to fit to this. Starscream would probably have occasional visions of future events, and then try and suit the situation to his needs and wants. Like if he saw that Megatron was going to be in a big game of fisticuffs with Prime in Autobot City in the year 2005, then he could have "assisted" Prime regarding Megatron and completely obliterate him.

Cause no one had that idea before

I agree with that. I have only watched the entire Beast Wars series once,

so I have some related questions.

1. How could Starscream get his body if he is a ghost and his body was completely destroyed?

2. Why is Megatrons body there if it was reformed into Galvatron?

When Starscream took over Waspinator's body, he didn't seem too concerned

with getting his own body. I don't think he was planning to leave Waspinator's

body because Waspinator didn't have any control once Starscream invaded

his body.

2. Why is Megatrons body there if it was reformed into Galvatron?

Maybe... because he wasn't reformatted into Galvatron until A.D. 2005?

whoops, I get it.

The better question is, why was he aghost. since he got his body back, just got sent spinning off into space. I doubt the few blasts from Galvatron killed him AGAIN. The episode we are discussing seems to ignore the events in season 3, as BA just says "You got blasted by Galvatron for being a traitor". This happened in the movie. Again, a minor detail, I am probably opening a whole can of worms with this. Beast WArs rules

It's RETCON TIME!! :D

Starscream could have come back to Earth between the time Galvatron destroyed him and when he got his new body from Unicron. Still though, a spark floating around in space... I recall that Rhinox said that Optimus Prime's spark would have unable to survive without a body. Why not? Everyone else's could... :P Well, okay -- it was an easy way to explain Primal's second upgrade. :tfgrin

But also remember, Rampage was born because they were trying to replicate Starscream's Immortal Spark. Starscream's was exceptional in that regard.

Which would also explain why Starscream could show up as a ghost AFTER getting his body replaced by Unicron, because he would have died again eventually, and be a ghost a second time. Although I like the theory that he visited the Beast Wars in between G1 events.

Also, Starscream didn't know he was on Earth because even the Preds and Maximals didn't know they were on Earth until season 2. But had he known, I'd wager he COULD have possessed his own body, even with his spark in it, since Waspinator's body had Waspinator's spark in it when Starscream possessed it.

Although Starscream possessing Starscream would most probably lead to some time/space paradox destruction.

i agree with most other people that he did not know he was on earth seeing as hes never seen prehistoric earth with the 1 big continant(sp). but he had been to earth once befor with jet fire/sky fire so he must of recalled the animals and the plant life

i do like LM thoery of how he died did the beast wars thing then was reborn by unicron.

Wrong!

The one big continent (Pangea) started drifting apart a loooooonnnnnngggggg time before the TF ever got to Earth. The last parts drifted apart around 65 million years ago. The Ark only crashed about 4 million years ago, so Pangea didn't exist for at least 61 million years when Starscream took over Waspinator.

We can try to make fancy solutions for it all, but the simple truth is that at the time the episode was written the main writers hadn't yet thought up the later story arc. It wasn't determined yet the BW was on pre-historic earth. (Spoilsport :D )
