Recommended Posts

Starscream pop up in BW by taking over Waspinator. What I want to know, is why he couldnt go to the Ark get his body and take out Prime and Megs.

Do you know why?

cause the animation for the G1 caracters probably wasnt finished..

ZING!~!

and then there is always the whole back to the future answer where if your meet yourself in a different time, some bad stuffs gonna happen.

My guess is that he didn't know what time and place he was either. How did he end up there anyway? Something must have happened to his body after we last saw him in G1 (for those who don't recall, I know he was killed in the movie, but Unicron gave him a new body later on). And I guess as chance would have it, he went through the same warp in space?

Cause no one had that idea before

I think he didn't know where he was. If he did, he probably would have told the Preds

Well because the high energy currents put him into waspanitor, so I'm guessing He COULDN'T switch bodys... But I don't know.. :)

well, he couldn't take his own body because his spark was already in his body.... he couldn't take over himself when he was already there....

Plus, the BW writers' awareness of G1 evolved over time. At the beginning of the series they knew zero about G1. Starscream's appearance was one of the first real attempts on their part to tie BW into G1.

Hence why Teletraan-1 is pronounced Teletron-1

Hence that funny bit in "Nemesis Part 2" where BA once again references "Teletron"-1:

Rattrap: "It's Tele-TRAN!"

Blackarachnia: "Whatever."

Also hence the Nemesis "shooting down" the Ark, also hence the general confusion over Prime's spark vis-a-vis the Matrix, etc. But I'm not complaining -- those are only small details.
