I'm gonna display the gestalt mode due to space reasons.

I still haven't decided whether or not to get any of these, and I've only even seen a few of the Aerialbots in-store so far. Does anyone know where I can find a really good Superion or Bruticus gallery?

Get 'em....even if you don't combine 'em, they're great figures. Just pick and choose the better color schemes.

as far as buildtron (what a lame name by the way) goes, im buying doubles of the green peices to keep his gesalt colours uniform. besides i dont recall seeing the origional devastator with yellow or blue arms and legs.

I don't recall any point where this Transformer was even named Devastator, nor beared any character relation to anyone near Devastator. It's Buildron. If you want G1 BS, then go buy G1 BS toys, but don't critize the superior toys from MY fav series just because they don't downgrade themselves to the crap that is G1.

While Buildron is not called Devastator, the G1 Devastator homage is there.

 

Personally, I don't mind the yellow/orange color scheme, but that blue is killing me as it's out of place with the other 3/4ths of the combined modes' colors. At least the yellow and orange blend well with the other two green components.

 

Other than that, I love these combiners.

Thanks. I'm familiar with Remy's of course, I just couldn't find it (I was looking in the collections though, stupidly).

i dont know about the combiners you have but the ones i got say the combined modes names are constructicon maximus and superion maximus. oh yea and i like to have the same color ones for the combined mode on display but then get the true individuals for a side by side display. then i put all my combiners from each series together from odest to newest. using the duplicates to show the individual robots with others from their respective seiries. except in the grimlock and swoop i just dont like the way they look combined so i display them next to the g1 versions. along with the other dinobot incarnations that have come along. its all part of my dinosaur fixation.
