Considering the members are still called Glen, Long Haul, Bonecrusher, Scavenger, and Scrapper, I think it's really odd that they DIDN'T call the gestalt Devastar. I find it hard to believe someone else copyrighted that name inbetween.

I'll probably be getting duplicates of two of the basics in each group (one for each unique mold), thus being able to enjoy the (awesome) combined modes, while still getting to enjoy the (awesome) individual modes. Really though... Storm-Jet and Steamhammer just look better as torsos IMO.

Alright, that tears it. After seeing Remy's galleries I'm bound and determined to have myself a Superion (as soon as I come across some money, that is) and maybe a Bruticus, too!

I am definitely combining Constructicon Maximus. He maybe the only one I get. I love the he has arm articulation. I don't really like Superion to much. the jets that spit open in combined mode look dumb to me.

Construction Maximus is a handsome fellow, I'm just not feeling all the brown... It bugs me that they're using colors I've never seen on a real construction vehicle (even if the vehicles themselves aren't that realistic).

Wasn't the actual topic asking whether or not we'd display them seperately, though? I guess I kind of lost sight of that, but to answer, 5-6 piece gestalt parts really mean nothing to me. I've got most of the G1 gestalts, RID Bruticus, and some Micromaster combiners, and they are almost always displayed in their combined forms. The only exception to this would be Tripredicus, because his beast modes are awesome, but his gestalt is fugly. The same logic behind Tripredicus will also apply to my Grimlock and Swoop set, assuming I ever FIND them...

I'll display them combined to save space. Since I don't have many Energon figures I could go either way.
