Dinobot is named after G1 Dinobots, but BM dinobots are named after BW Dinobot.

Way to go, you did it again. Your right X-Bob, but what about the Armada Dinobots.

They aren't part of cannon..... yet. They will prolly be from another dimension if they apear in Universe.

Way to go, X-Bob you solved it.

This is like asking who came first, the egg or the hen.  Thanks to BW there will be no definite answer to that

scept that has an asnwer, the egg came first!

Chickens ancesters were dinos, so at one point there would of been a Chicken/Dino hybred, that would not be a chicken, but eventualy one of its desendents would(egg), and the mother of the decendent wouldn't be considered a chicken

so the egg camne first.

It makes sense. Some people might try and have some issues with its logic, but it does indeed make sense. :tflaugh :thumb

But yeah, because of BW, we'll never know now who came first Dinobot (the Maximal) of the Dinobots

I agree with you. This is never going to be sovled.

I once again think this falls to the greaqt truth. THAT TIME TRAVEL SUCKS!!!! Time travel makes way too many plot holes for it's own good.

We can talk for hours about all this.

I'm pretty sure the Dinobots (Grimlock, Swoop, Snarl, Slag, Sludge) were the FIRST Dinosaur based Transformers.

Dinobot in BW, took the name because of this FORM. Terrorsaur took his name because he took the form of a "pteradactyl" (sp?).

In BW, only a handful of characters had names that weren't representative of their forms.

Also, BW was 300 years AFTER the Great War ended, but went back in time 4 million years. They may have been on Earth, but still they were created after the G1 guys.

So again, the G1 Dinobots came first.

EDIT** Granted I've repeated what I have said a few times in this thread, but it's the way I see it.
