This was a rumor for Transformers Energon but was later disproved. What do you guys and gals think? Should Prime and Megs ever combine? Should this happen eventually in a future series? Opinions, anyone?

Egh it would be cool, but not really feasable unless the bots are fighting an enemy that they have to team up to defeat, like unicron in Armada.

i doubt that the 2 factions would both come up with a combining technology that would be compatible with the other faction's tech

They combined before. Megs turned into a gun & combined with Prime's hand for him to use...haha

"We are allies... for now!"

Lamest plot device EVAH. Thank goodness that only lasted for like 5 seconds in TF:TM. :roll

Heh, are you kiddin me.. it would be like Veggetto ala Dragonball Z.. it would be interesting to see.. probably kick all kinds of ass.. will it ever happen? No... =(

There may be one way to make this possible. If they ever make a series where for some reason (other than Unicron) the Autobots and Decepticons had to join forces to combat another, more powerful, race of beings who are looking to add Cybertron to it's vast empire of enslaved worlds. Whether they are a more powerful race of Transformers or something else. It might be refreshing to see a totally new enemy emerge to add to the mix with a leader so evil he makes Megatron look like a boyscout.

It would be cool if either faction developed a combining technology (like Powerlinx for example) that the other one stole and decided to use... so even if never used as a plot device, it meant that perhaps the TOYS could combine!

No. :tdown

I hope not. That just seems pretty contrived for them to do that.
