OK, I stand corrected. Dont get me wrong, I love it. I just didnt notice the Mazdaspeed bodykit, its very subtle. Same thing with the Shocky head, the grille sculpt around his eyeball looks just like on E-Shockblast. And the Meister license plate threw me as well.

 

At first I was thinking the mustang for Shockwave, and the RX-8 for Soundwave, but after seeing that mockup of Alt Soundwave, these guys are both perfect. Even if the mustang alt's chest does mimic Shockwave's design a little better, so what? Im lovin' this guy!

 

As to the 'another blue alt' comment from before, so what? Blue is my favorite color, so for all I care they can do a blue version of every last one of them. And that shade looks bitchin' on the RX-8.

I guess its time for me to own up. it's a kitbash done by your's truly. My best work yet. Obviously not good enough since there are some people doubting the authenticity. Oh well, at least some fool is willing to pay $150+ for it on ebay. Easy money, lol. Seriously though, if this IS a kitbash its a very professionally done one. That head is not from any existing shockwave/shockblast toy. If its a scratch sculpt one, its very very well done.

I just noticed you're competing with Vector Sigma. Since there's obviously more than just one proto that's going to be auctioned, why don't you just let someone else go with it and wait for the next one to be put up for auction and hope you might get it cheaper? I don't get it.

Yeah man, pay me $150 and I'll slap a Shockwave head on the mold of your choice and in the color of your choice. :tflaugh As a matter of fact, I was going to do an Alt Shockwave bash using an E. Shockblast head until HasTak decided to do one themselves. Who the hell do they think they are anyways stealing my thunder?

bah its all disposable income at the end of the day, i know people who spend that on a bottle of wine, and as i mentioned in other posts i recently came to realise you never know what the future holds or how long we all have, so u want something grab it.

 

I might get it cheaper later, i definately will get it cheaper if i wait till general release but what the hell, its only a tank of gas in the UK (seriously) or a night out.

I know I'll be getting one. Unlike the majority of the fandom, I seem to prefer the Decepticon Alternators/Binaltechs (Despite the fact they are minor retools/repaints) to their Autobot counterparts.

 

This is probably because I'm a Combaticon nut (In the case of Swindle) and bright colours tend to make me feel ill (In the case of Sidwswipe, Tracks and Jazz). That said, I just prefer 'Cons.
