Some people still haven't learned from the Ravage "kitbash" incident... :roll

One thing: That particular version of the car isn't to be released in the USA (it's not street legal here, IIRC), but the toy has the steering column on the left hand side. Makes me wonder, at least. Maybe I'm just trying not to get my hopes up though. :nuts

I'm not even certain that you can buy that car directly from Mazda Japan in Japan. I believe it's a parts-only demonstration car meant to show you what parts you can purchase. I know Mazda USA will sell you the parts ... and you should be able to have them installed by Mazda without any issues regarding your warranty. It's not like the US-spec Mazdaspeed Miata.

It's still kinda strange that the Mazdaspeed RX-8 is blue ... the official color for that car is silver. The Mazdaspeed RX-7 A-Spec and R-Spec official colors were that blue.

Yeah and the fact it must be a productionised kitbash as numerous ones are surfacing now ;)

Huh.. Actually that does make a lot of sense. Admittedly I don't know much about the car industry.. but that clearifies it in my eyes. Thanks :nuts
