Was Hubcap in the G1 Animated movie?

Recommended Posts

, you'll see Prowl clearly biting the big one. Animation error strikes again for Headmasters. But then again, there were a few 'dead' troops in the first couple of HM episodes.

As for Perceptor, he was in S3 stateside. You're right there. But he did disappear afterwards until Victory.

Actually, Animation Error is struck down. Due to the fact that Transformers The Movie was not shown in Japan until years after its original release in the States, August 1989 to be exact, so Headmasters is not the one with the animation errors.

(splits hairs because it's fun)

oh you forgot about that? LOL

yeah the movie happened way later.though it ended up being retconned back to when it is suppose to happen. So most of Headmasters makes sense, like the death of Ultra Magnus, the end of the Dinobots, Galvatron's death

Wheeljacks body that Arcee was shown pulling was a prototype Transtector body, and Prowl was repaired. Got to love the Japanese LOL

And whose to say there wasn't any orcs at D-Day?

"Scientific evidence proves that there is no explanation for why Orcs couldn't have been at Normandy. In fact, common sense seems to prove it as I base the following statement with no proof whatsover: if aliens can be responsible for the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, then we owe it to science to consider all options." reports Dr. Eugene Mustardface of Fauxnix Online University.

Indeed there are many questions with answers that make more questions. Did Hitler enlist the aid of reptilian cyborgs? Did the Allies time travel to 3010 to defeat robo-Mussolini? Did a space shuttle from 1985 actually find it's way crashing through a worm hole to a past Hiroshima? Do Chupacabras like twinkies? Or are they afraid of the delicious snack? The world may never know...

Next time on Continuity Errors: we uncover the mystery of the lost city of Atlanta. Is it really in Georgia? Tune in to find out.

And the Pyramids of Giza were built by the Fallen and the Moon Landing happened to investigate the crash landing of the Ark. Transformers ARE real -- they hide among us in disguise. None of this can be conclusively disproved. :)

Transformers: The Religion

With all that said, TF:TM is the only TRUE movie in the TF universe, with DOTM getting an honorable mention. Epic soundtrack, killer animation and unforgettable characters and unforgettable LINES.

Just epic.

TFTM also treated the Transformers as characters (well, as much as they could be by G1 cartoon standards :roll) rather than set piece accessories for the human protagonists. In TFTM, Daniel was the tag-along accessory to the Autobots... in the Bayverse movies, the Autobots are tag-along accessories to Sam. :roll

Remember that Transformers The Movie came out in Japan much later than it did in the West. So at the time they wrote The Headmasters, most people in Japan hadn't seen TFTM; they only knew what they did from the opening prologue in Season 3 (TF2010); that Optimus Prime was replaced by Rodimus Prime and Megatron was replaced by Galvatron, and there are new characters/toys. Kaneda Masami didn't know that Prowl had died in TFTM -- so this continuity anomaly was made out of ignorance, not stupidity. Anyway, Ichikawa Hirofumi has since retconned this anomaly (in the Story of Binaltech) -- what we saw in The Headmasters isn't Prowl but Prowl II; a sort of clone of the original Prowl, containing Prowl's memories, but not his Spark -- instead carrying the life force of Chip Chase.

Yeah, although he and Wheeljack had different voice actors in Victory and some argue that their personalities had changed too - they were these stoic straight-laced science officers; very different from the bumbling scientist and mad professor that we'd previously seen. Perceptor was voiced by Shiroyama Chikao in S1-3, but voiced by Satō Masaharu in Victory. Similarly, Wheeljack (or "Hoiljack" as he's known in Japan) was voiced by Saka Osamu in S1-3... I can't remember who voiced him in Victory, but I don't think it was Saka.

Best animation errors are in s3 of G1. In the return of timus prime, after Jessica is taken to hospital, Swindle is in the hospital with the protectobots.

At the end of rebirth part 3, both Bumblebee and Goldbug are standing there cheering

:rofl

I know that's right. S3 was just one long, long animation error, with a handful of epic episodes tossed in for laughs. I mean, seriously has anybody sat through Carnage in C-Minor lately? Or through whatever the f**k was supposed to be going on in Forever is A Long Time Coming?

Not to mention in Darkness Rising, where Rodimus and Grimlock get caught snooping on the Cons while on Chaar. Rumble being as tall as Soundwave and the general piss-poor animation as the Cons converged on the 2 Bots was a low point right off the get-go.

What about all of those scenes in Season 3 where the combine gestalts are hanging out next to the 5 members that combine into them?! it happened with Bruticus ALL THE TIME!
