Toys R Us will not only be getting a new Transformers Masterpiece Optimus Prime this year, but the retailer will also be getting a Masterpiece Thundercracker, according to a merchandising sheet. The sheet, spotted at a Concord, MA Toys R Us store by fiveironfr3nzy of the 2005 boards, clearly shows that the Thundercracker figure will receive a prominent spot, right below the pegs. It is unknown if this figure is using the original Takara Tomy MP-03 Seeker mold, or if it will use the MP-11 Coronation Starscream mold. Toys R Us will also be carrying a Masterpiece Optimus Prime, using the MP-10 Convoy Ver 2.0, later this year. Read the Full News Story Here

Personally,This is great news for me. as I've already got Hasbro MP Walmart starscream & Walmart MP Skywarp.

I'm a bit worried TRU stores are gonna over charge for this & it'll sell for over $50. also worried it'll be hard to get. hopefully TRU.com has a pre-order. or when TRU.com has it on their site,I order one before it gets sold out.

I remember Walmart's MP Starscream cost $49.99 on it's first initial release run. while Walmart's MP Skywarp cost $59.99 on it's first initial run.

yea, i saw the original posting a few hours ago. this is pretty cool. It's going to be the older mold so previous 2 walmart releases will match. I'm pretty sure the price will be in the $60 range as were the first two.

Another MP to get

I picked up MP Skywarp on clearance for $15. Doubt I'll be so lucky this time....

Kinda hard to get excited for another Seeker, but I know I'd get it.

Whaaa...? Another seeker set completed? My wallet's cryin', but my face is smilin'. Will grab on sight! :tfdance

I give tru a pat on the back for this...But I'm good with just Starscream

Good luck finding this turkey. If Grimlock and Rodimus are any indication, it'll be one hell of an easter egg hunt!

What else is new with stateside releases these days? I'm with Atmo, though. This is a pass for me...I'm just not interested. Wasn't all that interested in the Generations version of T/Cracker, either.

I think you mean Concord NH.
