Transformers.com Product Update 11/18

Wow. Universe Cheetor is such a nice suprise. :tfevil

I assume the Divebomb repaint is going to become "Raptor" then...

I tried to post something about this but it looks like I was beat.

Anyhow here is what I had said about the new universe night slash cheetor:

I am so glad that universe is coming out with more beast formers (I'm looking forward to ramulas).

This was a mold I was hoping would make it to the Universe line (especialy when a real bad cheetor mold was being considered).

Any how if you have missed this mold (like I have) here is a review of it from the BWTF site:

http://www.bwtf.com/bm/toys/reviews/nscheetor/

You'll find it got a great review and it features 20 articulation points, a hefty amount of action features all in a deluxe ($10.00) toy.

Universe is alive again

Honestly, Universe seems to be only good for the animals and not much else.

Nemisis prime, then Ramulas, and finaly Cheetor; the best that Universe has to offer.

I too am really glad to see NS Cheetor getting the Universe treatment. I missed out on this guy the first time around and he looks hella sweet, so I'm def. going to pick it up this time around. :thumb

As for the rest, well, nothing too shocking there obviously, but it's cool to get a look at them just the same.

Anyone else wonder what kind of paint they use on their prototypes for these preview pics, since they always look kinda gritty and flat??

Cheetor looks much better than Ravage especially the smurfING ugly Alt version! :stone

:lol FM

One thing I've noticed about several of the Universe figures is how their new paint schemes have intentional visual references. Tankor being painted with Rhinox's colors, BW Silverbolt being painted with his BM color scheme... and now it looks like this Cheetor is being painted the way his BW TM2 figure was. (At least the way it was supposed to be before Hasbro cheaped out on the paint apps, that is.) I like that a lot.

I love the color scheme on my NS Cheetor, even though it's about as non-show-accurate as you can get, but I'm gonna have to get this guy.

Cheetor looks better than his past incarnations, so i'm getting him. The others I like but what's up with such names like "Blight? Cmon.
