Hardest Transformers to transform

Recommended Posts

Grimlock was most difficult by far straight out of the box. His transformation is learnable with practice, and once you learn it is easy. I've found a trick for Smokescreen/Bluestreak, and that is to put the back end of the car together at a 90 degree angle from the front of the car. You can get everything put together just right at that angle easily, and then just swing the back end up and everything fits.

Tracks/Ravage on the other hand seems only to have gotten more difficult as time has gone on. Those legs are really a pain. I'm going to try the precise directions in this thread to see if there is a learnable method for that.

Strangely enough, if there really is a method to Tracks I would have to say that Hound/Swindle would be the most difficult. Grimlock/Bluestreak/Tracks/Jazz are all difficult because of method. Hound is difficult because of a sticky spot. There really isn't an easier away.

******On a side note, what would you call the easiest transformation. I think Windcharger easily gets that nod.

Mesiter beleive it or not but only because his hood popped off and had a terrible time getting it back on again.  Tracks also took me a wile as well.  For some reason Grimmy did not take me as long although I havint tried to TF him back into car mode which I expect would take me a wile.  A lot of the earlier Alts I had a terrible time with but only because it took me a wile to get used to it.

I only own two Alts., Sideswipe and now Wheeljack (GO ME), and WJ takes the cake. Thanks to his oddly-shaped head (teh fins!), the unlatching and moving of the hood is a pain. And those damned car doors pop off a lot. I've TFed him like 3 times now, and it's happened to me every time. The arms also fall off. And for some reason, twisting the waist around is HARD. It's uber-tight and near impossible to swivel around on mine.

Transforming Sideswipe back to car mode never fails to drive me up the freakin' wall.  :fire

Yes. Don't you just LOVE stuffing his arms back up inside the rear part of the car? :D

Yes.  It's dirt simple.

Bend them backwards at the elbow, curl the wrists inward, and then curl the forearms inward.  Done.

Someone's got an ego. :P

Maybe so :P.  But I can't possibly see how his arms are difficult.  They're not like Smokescreen/Silverstreak's, in that they need a bit of maneuvering to get into place properly.  You just fold them up, and pop the trunk cover over them.  Easy-peasy.

Yeah. It's not that hard(for me).

Tracks.

Grimmy is complicated and weird, and there's like zero tolerance for wiggle room, but once you know where everything goes, it's fine.

I *know* what you're supposed to do with Tracks, I just CAN'T without praying there's not going to be any breaking.  The pegs are ridiculously tight.  The rear windshield ones are almost as bad as the legs.  This may also be because I've got BTs, and I think the leg peggings are metal.
