I haven't seen T3 yet but i know the Ferrari in it is NOT Hot Rod or Mirage, i love G1 but cant claim to remember much of it. Was Dino a G1 character? or even a character at all?

Seems to me Ferrari paid a little extra for naming rights to this character, why would Michael Bay care to "pay Homage" to Ferrari !?

Also is "Que" made up to ??

No and no.

$$$ talks.

Yes.

They are named Mirage and Wheeljack in the novelization, but their names were changed up for the film. Wouldn't be surprised if Hasbro keeps their "G1" names for their toys.

Seeing their names are only muttered maybe once or twice most...it's not a big deal. Small price to pay to allow these vehicles to be used.

One of the Mirage/Dino toys already shown in package said Mirage and I'm sure Wheeljack will be the same when his toy comes out.

Don't know who's stupid idea it was to use Dino and Que, maybe Nelson's LOL

Well if there is one good thing to take away from T3 is that its Michael Bays last Transformers movie. In 10 years time we'll look back on his films the way we look back on the old batman movies.

Hopefully someone will come along and do the films how they were supposed to be made.

Yea, I guess the Q thing was another not-funny joke based on the James Bond character. WTF, plain old Wheeljack would have been sooooo much cooler.

Nah. Those Batman movies were done in that weird Burton-esque setting and that surrealism is what made those movies lame.

Someone may come along and figure out how to incorporate a better and more simple story that works for Transformers movies, but they won't be able to improve much on the visual experience of what Bay did. Nobody could have done that better. As well as Bay is all that could be hoped for. Those old Batman movies were oozing cheese from every orifice from the very start. The only thing they provided was a what not to do method for future Batman movies.

Future Transformers movies will build on what Bay created. It will take his methods and hopefully find ways to incorporate newer technologies to improve upon them. These Transformers movies will never be a forgotten about chapter.

I'm calling him mirage. I don't care. :redface

You sure the Mirage you saw wasn't the KO that's been going around the web? I fell for it also, until I noticed the picture on the character card was mudflap photoshopped to red. -________-

I'm fairly certain that Wheeljack and Mirage will both retain their names for the figures as they did in the book.

Yes its Mirage, only weird thing is Hasbro not mentioning him or any of the other toys that are coming, Some how I get the feeling DOTM toys will keep coming until after Christmas
