Armada sucked from beginning to end. The final episode was a joke.

Man did it ever. :pfx But the new video game looks like its going to be cool....its now just called 'Transformers'.

I hate speculating on something I haven't seen, but one of my concerns is the "big name stars" they are trying get to play the human roles. Frankly, I have no damn interest in seeing humans in the film (though obviously there has to be some.)

I worry that if they got an A-lister, the film would revolve around them and they'd have to get most of the screen-time/dialogue etc.

that would suck, the only human in it should be Spike. And he should be played by an up and coming actor, someone who isn't on the A-list yet

Yeah so true I don’t want to see Tom Cruise in there. :tftounge

Armada sucked from beginning to end. The final episode was a joke. The only saving grace for Armada was the DW comic, written by Simon Furman. Heh, wouldn't it be great if he contributed to the movie somehow.

I liked the final episode myself. At least visually. It was very satisfying to see Optimus and Megatron beating the holy hell outta eachother.

*prepare for sarcasm*

"Oh no! Violent content in a Transformers cartoon?!?!? Perish the thought!!!"

And I've enjoyed Energon since it started. ESPECIALLY last weekend's return of Megatron. Awesome.

that was the highlight of Energon for me, what a great episode :thumb

I agree with the "wait-and-see" approach. Up until Blade, nobody thought that a decent Marvel movie could be made. I hear what everybody's saying, and I can see all points: we all want a decent TransFormers live-action movie, but at the same time, we're a little leary of getting a piece of garbage with the brand and logo plastered all over it. We don't want to get suckered in by five minutes total of good footage from the trailers, only to find out that that's the BEST five minutes of the movie.

If they plan on using CGI, the trick is to use it SPARINGLY, like in the Lord of the Rings films, i.e., only when absolutely needed. For some shots, they can use models or props. Others may require CGI, but it needs common sense. Hollywood gets into trouble when they go overboard. I won't even go into scripting!

No A-listers. That would ruin it. The Transformers are the stars, and an A-lister would steal it from them.

Cullen and Welker are the only A-listers they need

Amen to that!!
