This isn't anything I've never seen before. I'm not impressed.

You know, considering the amount of new guys and just random bots they've thrown in throughout the series, and the fact that the fire truck at the bottom of the screen cap is VERY clean looking for a warzone, part of me is thinking Inferno. Even if it is, he's probably just a filler character with little to no screen time... but the truck does look a bit out of place.

This isn't anything I've never seen before. I'm not impressed.

Hey.... I can say the same thing about Jaws 2 and 3.... aha JK!

I think we're gonna need a bigger BOT :P

:rofl

Touche! Although...

...I think Mick Bay STOLE BLATANTLY from Jaws II..!

The shark in Jaws II had a (howling with laughter) badly-scarred and burned face.

Megatron in DOTM has a badly-scarred and burned face.

The Oliver Stone in me is convinced that this is no coincidence. Bay has struck again.

"What I'm telling you and I'm telling everyone in this room is that THAT'S a Michael Bay film. And I know what a Michael Bay film looks like, 'cause I've seen one up close. And you better do something about this one, because I don't intend to go through that hell again!!!"

And to think they paid multiple millions to show it to us. :tfgrin

I'm not impressed as I remember the last two films being nothing but 5 things and they'll be here again

1 slow motion air spinning ... Check

2 slow motion Shia 180 pan shot .... Check always in trailer looking like he got goosed

3 slow motion 360 female half naked sunset shot .... We nearly there in trailer .... It'll be there somewhere

4 massive irrelevant explosions that hurt nobody ... Check

5 really badly designed formers + fast camera = WTF is going on who is that getting shot?.... Oh its prime same old them.

Bay just doesent make a proper film, we need proper tf fans to do a proper g1 homage movie.

I said proper alot... We need a proper job

Bay has done a great job, the money TF has brought in proves it :P

Iron Mike has seen to improve a little bit. I don't recall seeing any The Right Stuff-inspired slow-mo "cool walk" scenes, anything shot through an orange filter or even anyone rappeling down a rope in the trailer. I didn't even see anyone saying something along the lines of "I'm too old for this shit." Michael Bay must be turning into Scorsese right before my eyes.

It's the same old, same old with this guy. So what if it's "dark" and "gritty?" So what if Prime is "more" violent (he was this close to being Jeffrey Dahmer in ROTF...what's he going to do in DOTM? Eat your children?). The Lost World: Jurassic Park II was also supposed to be "dark" and "gritty" and that was one of the worst movies of the last 15-20 years. "Violent?" I can get the same thing from a Seagal film or a Troma film or any martial arts flick. I don't care. The movie's just plain going to suck, and everyone knows that.

I agree with this, I saw the trailer when it first aired during the Super Bowl and already mentioned I wasn't impressed, personaly. To me it was just a "portfolio" piece of the very few scenes that will most likely feature transformers. I know its still early, but judging by the previous buildup from ROTF, DOTM is not looking too good for me.
