Is Superlink Shockblast more show accurate?

Recommended Posts

I just wanted to note that in my opinion, importing is a thing of the past, all the online shops in the U.S. carry super-link, and for the extra dollars, youll spend that much money in gas driving store to store everyday looking for one.

True.

Also wanna point out that the current going price for Takara Lazerwave is about $30...personally, the extra paint aps and better plastic color is worth $10...especially on Wingsaber.

Hasbro's version almost looks like an unpainted test shot compared to Takara's wonder.

Well I got Shockblast on sale for $16 so thats still more than half of what I would have paid for the SL version when you throw in the $6-$10+ for shipping (depending on who you order from of course).

Most of the stores I go to are pretty close, so the most I spend on gas to go to those stores in a week would be about $4, and thats only if I'm making a trip just for TF's, mostly I'm in the neighborhood anyway so I just stop in and check.

I like the figures show accurate or not. I don't sit here and memorize and compare all the colors to the show versions and quite honestly if people here didn't talk about it so much I wouldn't even notice it.

But by all means if paying all the extra money for a few colors makes you feel better then more power to you. :wave

I usually grab the Hasbro version if it's show accurate enough. Laserwave is the bomb and I couldn't get past spending the extra 10 bucks for the show accuracy.

*shrug*

For me, I choose Shockblast over Laserwave for display purpose. Show-accuracy wise, it is not as alarmingly different unlike Megatron and Galvatron or Scorponok and Mega Zarak. I actually prefer Shockblast for the lighter grey because I need him to stand out from the back. The darker grey puts him completely in the shadows which I do not like. If Shockblast is at the front, all the deluxe figures will be squashed. :redface
