Thundercracker = Scalpers wet dream?

I don't know why but I'm just predicting him to be a rare figure to find outside Ebay since alot of people need him to finish the set. Which is why I preorder mine already! >D

Funny you should mention this as Wheeljack and Thundercracker both sold out so quickly. Also, I would not doubt these are scalper bait as I have never seen any of the new figures like Jazz in stores. Plus, these may get a short production run as it will be very close to the release of the movie merchandise.

Finally, now don't screw this up!

I haven't even seen Jazz, is he out? Looks like these may be as hard to find as Animated Arcee and Rodimus

This is great news for most of us.

I do wonder though how they'll justify it with the Botcon crowd. With Thrust and Dirge, they can fall back on the defense that the Generations toys use (slightly) different molds than the Botcon ones. But you'd expect Thundercracker to just be the same mold as Starscream/Skywarp/Other Starscream/Acid Storm.

Maybe the justification will just be, "Sorry guys, we screwed up. Turns out people will buy this."

Nice!Finally can put the Henkei 1 I have to rest.Hate it!

Actually, I might buy a case of this wave. I could sell the extra set. It comes with the following:

2x Scourge

2x Sergeant Kup

2x Thundercracker

2x Wheeljack

Cool news to hear. I will say that with the release of Generations Dirge the Classics Ramjet has went up in price on eBay, but that could be because of the holiday as well. :shrug

*shrug* I'm one of those rat bastards who has the 2007 BotCon set. I'm sure he'll be different from the BotCon figure like Thrust and Dirge were. I wonder if he'll warm shelves like Thrust does here. Dirge hasn't really shown up, so I can't call if he's selling well in my area or not. It's funny, people complain about repaints unless it's a seeker mold.

I've seen Jazz here and there, but I agree there seems to be a limited sighting of him. Seen WAY more Mindsets and Fallbacks than Jazzes and Tracks

What you guys really thought they wouldnt release him ever at retail? I mean come on, its Hasbro. I dont think the botcon figure will have anything to do with how this turns out b/c its been so long. I bet he will look alot like the henkei version. I dont think they will go all a dif style then the generations style has been. Im really liking all these new figures ALOT!

about jazz;

I managed to find two tracks and two jazzs. :D There are 2 more right now at my local kohls. I am using them as bait for trade which worked cuz i managed to get a Dirge and Thunderwing for them (misb's for misb's). I may buy the other two to get some of some other figures im missing in my G1 classics line up.

I dont think the botcon figure will have anything to do with how this turns out b/c its been so long.

Time has nothing to do with it, there will be some differences due to the exclusivity of the BotCon version. There's an agreement there with the organizers. But yeah, probably will be like the Takara version.
