Anyone looking to finish off their Animated collections need to be on the lookout. Despite deluxes all being mixed together on the pegs, you must know that Rodimus Minor and Ironhide are a horrendous 16.99 each. Despite the sticker saying 12.99. Just letting you guys know.

That is where you bug them about the stated sticker price until they cave in and sell it for $12.99. I've done that before and got Animated Arcee for $9.99

Yeah, I swear, TRU usually has the wrong price on their tags some times. This also happened to me with Rodimus, told them it was a different price on the shelf and they checked. Damn thing did say "Animated Deluxe". I doubt TRU would go and make a separate tag just for those 2 figures, especially when the person stocking them doesn't care which one it goes under since their pretty much the same packaging.

I did! The fraggers wouldnt budge! Both toys were on a peg that said 12.99 and they just refused to honor that. TRU lost my business today. If I want a TRU exclusive from now on I'll go thru BBTS or eBay.

lol, I just threatened to sue them for false advertising and wallah, instant $10 exclusive (my TRU has them for $10 o.o)

 

I'm envious though, I STILL have yet to find a single Arcee anywhere, it's like Rodimus and Ratchet are mocking me with their very presence o__o

I've never had a problem talking them down, but then the ones that work at the TRU near me, aren't exactly intelligent

I work retail, threaten to call weights and measures, they are required to give you the lower posted price.

Yeah, they are required to give you the price on the peg because that's basically what they are advertising instore. My daughter picked up a $169 electric guitar for $109 because one of the clerks placed it in the wrong spot. The same thing at KMart, their supposed to honor misslabeled merchandise at the lowest price.

I'd rather just argue with them than pay more at an online retailer. Then again, I got Rodimus for $4 so sometimes it's all about their sales paper.
