I like Soundwave's design, but he doesnt look like Soundwave to me. Maybe a cross between the Cybertron Soundwave, a Cyberjet, and Nightscream. Looks cool, just not expected. Starscream looks cool too, just, yeah, not very Starscreamish. I dig it, gonna have to see them in action before I can pass judgment really.

If we can look to the Animated Blurr toy, I think we can get a good idea of how Soundwave and Starscream would look with more reasonable proportions in robot mode. I'm now even more confident that the toys will be better than the animation.

Boycotting this series, officially

why are the Cons so horrible

I think the Soundwave design works. Being an unmanned spy plane really suits the character. A lot of people seemed to like the spy satellite mode in ROTF. If they tried that here he probably wouldn't get much screen time, just like ROTF. At least he's not a van again.

I was just thinking, he looks like ROTF Mindwipe a little.

8shrug* I liked the Scion alt mode.

We have no new ideas here at Hasbro, so we´ll just mix the shit out of the last 2 bits of TF history (movie and animated) and puke it out on you all to buy while you all wait for something decent to come out

This is looking....Shit

I'm a bit disappointed in yet another pointy-space-plane altmode for Megatron. With what looks to be a visible head... >_>

Bulkhead looks great, he's bulky but not "fat" looking.

I dont care that he's a spy plane. I care that he looks NOTHING like Soundwave. As far as I'm concerned, its not him. Not giving him a face, who the hell thought that gem up?

Megatron looks better as a tank than a space jet (they really should've taken some cues from that sweet new WFC Megs) but I'd like to see him in a mode that really sets him apart from the rest of the 'cons. If I have any complaint about the new Soundwave it's that the Decepticons have enough air support already.

The new Bulkhead is awesome! He doesn't look fat, just strong. I do kinda wish the new Arcee was pink or at least red, but the design itself is great.

Ok Time to grade the designs

Arcee - C

She is sleek and actually looks like a feeme fatale robot with a homage to Bubblegum Crisis 2040

Bulkhead - F

I hate the Animated designs and they are not realistic at all, plus he looks more like a fat green Pig pure shit

Bumblebee - B

I like the movie design however he is meshed well, and if you forget about the G1 design, he looks good

Optimus Prime - C+

Looks more like he is wearing a square bra and shoulder pads while also being Anemic

Ratchet - A

Pure awesomeness and he looks like he can kick some ass

Megatron - D

Looks more like a cross between an evil medieval knight and flat lion face that is gray

Soundwave - F

Looks nothing like Soundwave, I think a toothpick is fatter then he is

Starscream - F

Are we sure it is Starscream and not Slipstream? Looks way too feminine and a wuss

Cliffjumper - B

Mainly because he looks like he can kick some ass, and is not a clone of Bumblebee

Decepticon Trooper - B

He looks bad ass, but gets a B because there are a lot of him since he is drone, so his awesomeness will wear out quickly

Not looking to good for Prime - already about to chalk it up to utter crap. But will wait to see it. It can't be any worse then that shit Animated and Energon
