While we got a lot of news during Transformers CybertronCon China, but during BotCon 2010 and even during the initial images of Hasbro's Spring 2011 figures, we never knew what the line would possibly be called until now: Reveal the Shield. Read more. Read the Full News Story Here

I think by the whole "Reveal the Shield" thing they will be adding the faction rub signs back onto the Transformers just a guess on that one?

:agree

Plus, I don't think it'll have any affect once TF3 comes out. The "Hunt for the Decepticons" subtitle for this lineup, is actually just a decal on the blister, so I have a feeling the "Reveal The Shield" lineup will be "subtitled" the same way.

Maybee this is a line where say the Deceptions have a Shield Generator that flips out of their shoulders/chest and the Autobots have similar but solid state panels that flip up out of their arms. Reveal The Shield could be a reference to a battle-mode where weapons installed by you activates a Minicon like gimmick that auto-deploys said shields...

LOL in my haste to type I missed out the D from Sheild, a suggestion that came up would have been an Aussies dream.. Sheila Generator :tflaugh

2 things,

first off I could care less about sublines

-Primus Unleased

-Hunt For The Decepticons

-Battle for The Sparks

-Unicron Battles

-Allspark Powered

and whatever the hell else, They're all just Transformers to me. I always saw the sublines as little more then a way to reintroduce repainted figures, and pretty much every subline has been just a sticker on the box.

Second, "Reveal The Shield" seems these guys are out of ideas :tflaugh

I think it is along the lines of Hunt For The Decepticons, where it is just a sticker on the packaging, and not an actual part of the line title. Probably going to have another stupid game like Hunt For The Decepticons

I tried one of those and BB got killed by Lockdown which is fine, I don't wanna live in a workd where BB beats Lockdown :P

i would also have to agree.. it looks like there is a rub-sign right on Tracks' chest there.

Doesn't the instructions on the "Hunt for the Decepticons" boxes jus say "Transformers" on them? Hunt for the Decepticons is just the name of a special offer sticker on the packages. This is probably the same thing. The new line will probably be "Transformers" again in 2011, but with a different sticker and special offer inside.

Yea, probably the rub signs. A way of a subline (sticker or not) to represent G1 in a way. You can DEFINTELY see it on Tracks(chest), windcharger(front of hood/car), Perceptor(only can see it on the high res shots *NOT these* on his chestplate),& Grapple(upper/left side of vehicle mode)! I see Scourge has a purple :con symbol so i thought maybe the cons dont have the rub signs, but then saw Thunderwing has one on the top/dead center of Jet mode. ;)
