I bugs me that they're skipping the triple changers this time around. I'd like a Springer or maybe Broadside

(yes I have Warbot)

I think the answer for Perceptor is that they had the figured half designed for Animated and figured adapt it instead of scrap it.

I'm iffy on it, but alot of these pictures are obviously rough. I wanna see more detail and hope that since Perceptor is a truck they didn't scrap the field lab submode from the origional Animated concept sketches.

its pretty confusing though i mean Jazz in Animated was a fast, nice race car and in G1 the same thing and now with Generations its the same thing just a little different in both his vehicle and robot mode, and tracks is basicly the same too a nice dark blue race car with the flames on the sides from G1, but then again was Tracks in Animated?

That was Animated's catch though, they tried to fill it with as many G1 refrences as they could.

Beyond that especial Tracks, it was just cameo type stuff. Perceptor was pretty far in design concerning Animated, but I think Tracks is a season 2 favorite who they decided to rehash. There's nothing really Animated about that pic(thank god) concerning Jazz, there'll always be a demand for the character same as Optimus, Starscream, Megatron and so on...

i completely forgot that Tracks was even in the back round of Animated, i really wonder what other figures Generations will have, hopefully a wide variety of figures

They are slowly redoing all of G1 which is a good thing as they have been staying faithful for the most part with a few exceptions (Galvatron, Megatron sorta, Ultra Magnus, Devastator)

I'm still holding out hope for an updated Wheeljack, and Dinobots to go with Grimlock

Just give it time ;)

Actually... we did get a triple changer, even though I dont consider darkmounts "3rd" mode anything special.

I would highly like a Springer and Arcee though.

Just give it time ;)

You know I always mention Wheeljack, I would even settle for Fansproject to do Wheeljack and they can call him MechanicBot for all I care, as long as it looked like Wheeljack.

Reluttr, I've been saying the same thing for years about Springer and Arcee.

For me? Warbot is Springer and I plan on buying a 2nd one and getting the reprolabels for him also

As for Arcee? I'm leaning towards buying Impossible Toys's TRNS-01 even if it looks like crap from the pics I have seen and overpriced.

Cause to me? For Hasbro you are going to be :deadhorse for a very long time

HELL yeah. I'm not a completist, but I'm thrilled...they're getting very close to filling out the entire line of series 1&2 G1 Autobot cars, the line that got me into TFs in the first place. Tracks, Jazz, and Grapple are musts. It's just Trailbreaker, Skids, and Wheeljack left (IMHO the movie version of Hoist/Longarm is close enough). Maybe Wheeljack will be the Tracks repaint.

The downside is I skipped some of the Classics remolds, and now I may just have to go back and get them all.

Probably skipping the non-car ones, though maybe Perceptor will have a good repaint.

The new PCC are interesting, but they'll have a heck of a time reissuing them as mixed-team repaints!

I also vote for more Triple Changers!

My only question is, why the @#$% were these not shown at Comiccon last week?!

I just realized, the dinobot PCC has a Pope hat in combined form XD!!

At this point I'm willing to mix and match to make a modern G1 line up.

A figure like Galvatron I found lacking, so I sold him with no replacemnt in mind. It was a matter of QC over the fact he was redesigned.

While they do have their merits I currently have 2.0 Ratchet and Ironhide(hint) on EBay. I'm not a Animated fan overall, but the Cybertron Ratchet and Ironhide will fill that void same as Blurr is...

Even Jazz, I look forward to this new figure, it looks great. It will be bought and displayed, but for the story on my shelves Animated Jazz is the active figure.

I'm not saying I only want one of each named figure, but there's enough out there where I can pick, choose, wait, and jump...

-story behind Jazz-

after Primus was awakened and he was given a new battle form(movie Jazz), he fought bravely but couldn't get over the pains he suffered in the battles that followed.

After a couple attempts(Target G1 Movie Jazz) a new more simple form was derived.

Now, while still committed to the Autobot cause, he prefers to stay off the front lines.

Jazz is on a much needed leave enjoying the simpler side of life and going to arms only when those things are threatened.

Instead of fighting he prefers learning to play new instruments, sight seeing, music, beatnick poetry. He also has a infatuation with the mysteries of bubble soap.

He still however likes taunting and toying with new recruits instilling them with both fear and reasurance.

All I want is the Generation line figs and Grapple so he can chill with Inferno.

Me what all, me get all, I just wish we did have to wait until spring 2011. Does the spring release go for the PCC as well?
