Is anyone else getting really fed up?

Recommended Posts

OK, so I ordered these figures (Bruticus upgrades) months ago, thinking they were coming out in June. After what seemed like a long wait, they were delayed to mid-June.....Then early July.....Now late July!

Why is it that FP can't just get their predictions right as to when their figures are gonna be released. I paid the internet site I ordered my figures from months ago now, and that money coud have ben making interest in MY BANK ACCOUNT instead.

Ihate when ppl can't do what they're supposed to when they say they will. Does anyone else feel like this???

Nope! Cause I didn't (pre-)order them. :)

That said, I'd feel more agreeable if they were doing this full time and as a living. (even then...I'll get to that later.) From what I've gleamed from people's statements: they're just a group of fans doing this as a hobby. The money from purchasing their items, goes back into recouping project costs.

As for my "even then", they're a pretty independent / small outfit. I've been following an up and coming toy company for about five years of their ten year existence. During that five years, they went through 3 or 4 factories, ended up losing molds in the process, and licenses, which lead to many a product being delayed, cancelled, or placed on indefinite hiatus. How they managed to stay afloat, I have no idea...but they're just now getting their products into brick and mortar stores, as opposed to self-selling, or online shops.

Basically, what I'm saying, I can understand getting angry at delay after delay if it's a big company (I'm looking at you Diamond, with your Minimates limbo lab playset! I want my damn Battle Beast!) but when it's a small operation, these things happen. It's best to just take it in stride, and follow them onto bigger and better things. Patience will be rewarded. :thumb

:agree

This is why I don't pre-order

I really can't think of the last thing to be preordered that sold out right away.

It's annoying when you pay up front or have that 1 thing hold up the rest of your shipment.

Even worse when theres expected delays then a fast hit to you bank account you weren't expecting.

The only reason why I preorder anything is to avoid a situation like the MP Starscream corronation set a couple years back.

BBTS jacked the price up 4 times in one day.

So now when I see something like the G1 Prime upgrade. I preorder wait a week to see if the price has changed then tend to cancel.

In some form or another, these things will be there eventualy. No need to get them right away just to be impatient over the next thing...

I pre ordered them and I'm not fed up. It's taken Hasbro longer to release stuff then Fan's Project

I do really want to get my hands on them, and since I missed out on the Superion upgrade set, I dont want to miss out on these (especially since its cough(Blast-Off and Swindle). So while Im really annoyed that they arent out yet, Im also glad. Because I need to save up more funds!

I'm not fed up. From what I've heard they didn't properly estimate how much time the factory would need to make two different full figures. It's always disappointed when things are late but I'll give them a little leeway in terms of what they are doing. They aren't big enough to have their own factories and such to crank these out.

When I used to pre-order from vendors I would only pre-order from vendors that charge when the product comes out for this exact reason.

N ...no. I'm not angry. It's a fabulous company and it gives me time to generate some more money to get the upgrades. Wish they'd re release the Cliffjumper sporter kit though. Still not pissed at them.
