Top 10 awesome figures that you'd like to throw through a wall!

Recommended Posts

Transformers, we love them ore we wouldn't be here. You have something cool, that turns into something awesome, whats not to like?

No matter how experienced you are at changing them though, some go real quick from fun to fumble.

So list them here, your top 10 that you love, who are just a bitch to change or display that drive you crazy.

10, G1 Overlord

-the only draw back to this figure are those dam ramps in base mode that never stay in place. I have no idea why Takara never put in some pags or clips for those as the little groves just don't cut it.

9, Altinator Prowl

-besides the mirrors that fall off at a touch it's near impossible to close the hood with the gun/engine in place.

8, Beast Wars Rampage

-overall a simple figure, but I still get dizzy putting the claws in possition for the awesome tank mode

7, RID RailRacer/JRX

-I forget the name but the center robot has clear connector clips. I've gone through 2 of them do to breakage and constantly have fear whenever I pick up the museum worthy gesalt

6, Universe Galvatron

-when I was a kid I just use to take apart a rubix cube and reasemble it the right way. This figure brings back memories.

5, ROTF Leader OPtimus Prime

-"I AM OPTIMUS PRIME, I AM OPTIMUS PRIME, I AM OPTIMUS PRIME, I AM OPTIMUS PRIME..."

4, Altinators Grimlock.

-Great weapons, beautiful alt, awesome robot. Every time I pick him up though after a few minutes I just can't help but wonder what I was thinking!?!

3, RID Megatron

-the figure just looks regal, but I'd still like to smack the genius who thought ball jointed ankles on a top heavy figure would be a good idea.

2, Cybertron Megatron

-look he can do a split all on his own

1, Matserpiece Megatron

-we all know the fear!!!

Remember folks, this is about figures you love, who still drive you up a wall. Third Party & crossover pieces are wecome too :thumb

I'll play.

10. G1 Bruticus - Awesome war robot, but the gimpy shoulders/Onslaught arms that "holds" up Vortex and Blast Off keeps drooping down like my grandma's rack and the chest plate pops off.

9. ROTF Leader Optimus Prime - Same reasons as LE, but what I hear is "I am Octopus Crime". Yeah, mine is muffled.

8. G1 PMOP - Nice looking non-battle truck mode, but the robot mode/super brick mode leaves much to be desired because of the all the pieces that keeps popping off. Brick mode Super Octopus Crime's "smokestacks"/cannons always falls off or, worse, snaps off at the peg whenever you try to make it stay on its super robot mode. Also, Hi-Q NEVER seems to want to $%^@% want to stay on.

7. G1 Fortress Maximus - Great brick toy, just too heavy to transform without having parts (legs) of it hitting you because of its weight.

6. MP-01/20th Anniversary Optimus Prime - Knee and feet problems aside, the chest/Matrix chamber can be a real bitch to realign.

5. Beast Wars Neo Mach Kick - A shellformer with an awesome alt mode, but you need to massage the panels JUST right to get it back to that after you transform it to robot mode.

4. Beast Wars Neo Big Convoy - See above.

3. Beast Wars TM2 Skybite - See above (again).

2. G1 Omega Supreme - Nice puzzleformer if you don't have to keep track of its 2 bajillion pieces and put them on without having to worry about breaking the walking cam/mechanism.

1. BW Tripredicus - One badass gestalt - one weak component - RAMHORN. I don't know how many times I have thrown this POS against the wall because the frustration level to have it massage back to its insect alt mode.

Mach Kick and Cybershark are 2 figures that I try to avoid touching all together. MK stays in alt mode and is rode by GIJoe 25th Spirit. It looks cool.

Cybershark just stays at the back of a shelf.

Great line up though!!!

Ok, this should have been brought a long time ago to help with my Bi-Polar disorder-mine are

10. ROTF BRAWN, This guy could not have a looser head, if I attached a spring it would be the worlds first transforming Bobble Head!

9. Universe Heavy Load, his joint/gun/shoulder is the sloppiest weapon I have ever seen.PERIOD

8. ROTF Ravage, why is it that every time I wanna pull this guy out the legs and the repositioning of the fig make me wanna sh*t myself-

7. Alternators Tracks(blue), I have every reason to wanna upgrade this guys feet, between the doors and the non-articulative feet that only spin around, any one of my bots with a weak missile can shoot him down.

6. Masterpiece Skywarp, did the runners have to be attached with a ball joint at the hip that allows for no movement??? Who knows.

5. MP-05(Masterpiece Megaton), I have no legs, I have no legs!

4. ROTF Supreme Devastator, I have no legs, I have no legs too!!

3. Universe Deluxe Optimus(Battle Begins), the damn push button spin gimmick even with it locked is still a POS.

2. TFTM Bonecrusher, the damn claw gimmick only lasts about a month and then it is worn out beyond repair and it dangles in front of his face , with him thinking - "who turned out the lights"????

1. ROTF Superion(If you did not buy the add-on appendage kit), the damn hands/weapons/fingers are a joke and if I want them to stay on or not have them at all I have to buy a $50.00 add-on kit! It went against the wall RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just have one. (well, that I can think of off hand.)

Robots in Disguise Ultra Magnus. (and to an extent Omega Prime...but RiD Prime saved it from being thrown.)

but I got fed up trying to transform UM into vehicle mode, I got so frustrated I punted him like a football. He broke. :lol

There was another one I didn't like, so I flung him across the room. It seems like it learned it's lesson, since it was a bit more manageable after that, and I've forgotten who it was. :tflaugh

just dealt with him the other day: ROTF Jetfire.

I love it because the unofficial combined mode with prime is amazing, but his transformation and robot mode are just plain bad. I've never had this happen to me, but it actually took me a good 20 minutes to turn him into his jet mode (complete with his craptacular kibble).

For me, I have three;

1. Ultimate Bumblebee. Pulling the legs out or in using those little tabs was a pain.

2. I don't know if this counts. The Star Wars Darth Vader Death Star, thing. It would take my at least haft an hour to transform into planet mode because it was not easy to line up all the parts, and then my little brother would roll it like a bowling ball for 5 ft and it would take my another twenty minutes to fix the damange done. This is the only Star Wars Transformer we have and was not worth the $70 we paid for him!

3. Tf Cybertron Megatron/Galvatron. Haft of the time I forget to pull out the cockpit for his alternet modes. Then I have to take the #$%& thing apart and pull out the little thing, then I have to put it all back together again! Don't even get me started on "Dark Claw Mode!" You can't display him on your wooden shelves or he will fall over!

:yay MY TURN! :yay

In no particular order:

10) Masterpiece Megatron: He seems to allways want to seperate at the waist when posing/Tfing which really bugs me. Also he's one scary figure to TF, in fear of breaking

9) RID Sideburn: He's just a real pain in the ass to TF. and 9 out of 10 times when I TF him, I forget to put his pistol in it's storage

8) ROTF Mixmaster: It's not so much that he's difficult or frustrating, but mine's missassembled so he can't form his cannon mode properly

7) Beast Wars Dinobot: His shoulders in robot mode just don't want to stay in place, they constantly swivel around

6) RID Omega Prime: Getting the guy together can be annoying at times, and some poses just impossible due to the top heaviness Ultra Magnus gives him

5) Classics 2 pack Megatron: TF his arms at the wrong angle and they're gonna pop off. It's mostly the cannon arm that has this problem. I've had a few of this figure and all but one has had this problem

4) RID Brave Maximus: His legs take quite a bit of effort to move, and I've ended up getting my finger caught in his hip more than once and it hurts like a bitch. Also, I'm allways afraid of breaking the clip parts that hold the two parts of his main tower together. Anyone else have that fear whe TF'ing him?

3) RID Landfill: No matter which combo you go for, for combining him, it's gonna confuse you. Especially when trying to use Grimlock as the arms

2) THS 02 Hybrid style Convoy: He's just so small that you fear breaking him. Especially hismetal bumper which you have to spin during transformation

1) Cybertron Primus: Beacause I fucking hate that I have to find his "Omega Lock" every single time I want to TF him

Concerning Brave max, the only thing I really fear are the legs on Cerebros. Those are so tight I constantly fear snapping at the hip.

I tried loosening the screws a bit, but it didn't help. The odd part is, it's only a concern going into robot mode only?

TF2 Mixmaster, he was real close on my list. I love the figure in both modes. Even though the arms are kibble heavy, if you set the ball joints on those pannels just right, you can get a full range of movement just by tapping the mixer shells.

He's honestly one of my favorite 09 figures.

The issue though with this long lanky bot covered in huge sections of kibble is that all of it fits into place with no room to spare let alone error.

You need a cigarette after changing that thing and a nap!

I find a lot of MixMaster's problems can be fixed by gluing some of this unnecessary arm joints into place so that you only move the joints you wanted to move in the first place. That guys arms are WAAAY overjointed.
