Some of the Hub's most high-profile shows will be updated versions of well-known Hasbro programs from the 1980s, including "G.I. Joe," "Transformers" and "My Little Pony." The latter is being re-imagined for young girls by "Powerpuff Girls" creator Lauren Faust, while the new "Transformers Prime" will feature the voice of Peter Cullen, the original voice of Optimus Prime from the animated series as well as the Michael Bay-directed feature films. Additionally, "Transformers" feature screenwriters Alex Kurtzman and Robert Orci will act as showrunners. "G.I. Joe Renegades" will spotlight the Joes on the lam from government forces and the agents of Cobra, a storyline that echoes the recent feature film released by Paramount last summer.

Besides that Bumblebee sighting from a few months ago, has Hasbro/Hub even released recent pics of what we can expect of Transformers: Prime? I did a search and can't find a thing. It premieres in October, so I would think there would be pics floating around somewhere.

Nope, Hasbro has been playing this pretty close to the chest so far. We have only seen Bumblebee, and that was just a sneak from an ad for The Hub channel

I have a feeling TF:P is going to be a safely guarded secret until BotCon. Gotta have SOME kind of thunder for that convention :shrug

You're right. They're also going to officially announce Cybertron Soundwave and some other War for Cybertron toys. So we were told during Toy Fair.

My thought Exactly, I think Cullen should just be playing one Prime at a time. I love it that MB would allow Cullen to play in his movies, but I've already told how I feel about Cullen's voice now(not happy)

 

I would like to have Gary Chalk back as Prime, but who am I to make those calls? I always thought Gary could make Prime sound authoritive, yet sound personal when he talked to the humans in the show, like he was on there level.

 

Cullen always sounds like he is above Sam(no pun intended)

Cullen will always be Optimus Prime (for me anyways). Chalk was ok, but I always felt his voice never had that noble sound that Cullen's has, especially Cullen's current/aged Optimus Voice.

I think the Noble sound is what I don't like, it sounded epic for the first film, but now that I realize that is how he is going to make optimus sound, it's not what I see for the Character...it's like everytime he talks he should get a close up or some kind of low camera angle and a Cybertron Flag flapping the in the wind behind him. He isn't on a real level.
