Don't really see it happening. For one, there are a lot more Iconic charachters that should really get the MP treatment before he would (although I love Sky Lynx). Also I think the Sky Lynx toy is one of the most spot on figures ever created as far as cartoon accuracy as it looks exactly like his cartoon self. Lastly, like one person already said, if they tried to make him really large for scale he would be way too expensive for people to want to buy (again he's not enough of an iconic charachter for most people).

I wouldn't pay $100 for it, but it's not a series that I collect - and I don't get into customs either. LOL I was being toungue-in-cheek and absurd. Yes $1700 is uber rediculous, as would $1500 be. I would be the guy did it for the challenge and fun, and for himself, and if he can get someone to buy it - then even better. But that's why a company has to mass produce enough to get the price point low enough to make it both profitable for the manufacturer, and yet economically enough that the market will bear it. Clearly, it's a very very rare case that someone will spend that kind of money on a custom. More power to him - but I don't see it. I was just being goofy.

I got a reissue for free from Digital Toys before christmas. They were offering a promotion if you ordered more then 200 they threw in a free one. You can find them on ebay for less then $50 bucks. So from a sales point of view I dont think that HasTak would make the figure again or as a masterpiece figure. Maybe in PCC but I would not hold my breath.

 

As for my opinion I always liked the character and appreciate it being a part of my G1 collection but I doubt seriously that I would pay for another one or an MP version. But stranger things have happened I have bought two different versions of Armada Sideswipe so you never know.

I'd like a regular ultra or leader sized version.

I have the origional so I skipped the reissue and while the thing was a great G1 figure surpassing most others in detail it was still kinda plain.

Granted the neck alone had more articulation then the average G1 figure but still...

 

So what I'd like to see is the same concept of a 2 part unit each with a wide range of movement in both individual and combined modes.

 

That combination has to be solid too!!!

 

Another thing I'd like to see is a decent cargo bay that can actualy hold something let alone someone. I'd forgo all electronics if say the Tiger part could widen to cary and launch a scout in alt mode.
