Transformers: Cybertron

Recommended Posts

Armada was 52 episodes guys and had a lifespan of about a year... so that seems to be about the length of life for a TF show now days. Hopefully Cybertron follows in the same contuinity as Energon and forms a nice three year story arc.

not likely, kids have short attention spans these days. Rather than have one series continue for multiple seasons, a new series comes out each year. Energon will most likely only last a year, and then become something else, which in turn will last only a year. Just look at Power Rangers, the original lasted 3 seasons, but ever since then each new version has only lasted a season. It's sad really, but with a few exceptions. Like Justice League, which will be going on it's 3rd season, just not for a while

Armada may have been a cool name, but in the begining, it didn't make sence. An Armada is a whole frickin' @$$ load of ships. How many Transformers were there in the begining? 7 Hardly an Armada. And what is with the extra titles that shows are given? BM: Battle for the Sparks and The Unicron Battles.

The secondary titles show that it's either a 2nd series thus breaking it apart from the original, or bring the shows that apply to it under one banner (eg: X-men, The Phoenix Saga)

There are both good and bad points with continuing the series after Energon. However they'll be mentioned later.

I with the recent lines the titles have all held a great purpous.

Robots In Disguise - Marks the return of Transformers to their roots - robots who have 2ndary modes in order to hide.

Armada - The mini-cons become an Armada to reinforce either side, and eventually reinforce all TFs against Unicron

Energon - The main focus of both the line and each teams main aim

Cybertron - Chronicles the events on Cybertron. The war, the energon shortage, etc. (This one I'm just guessing, but it would be a cool idea.)

that toy looks energon to me

its got a energon crystal thingy at the back, and 2x minicon ports on the wings

That's because it -is- Energon. It's Slugslinger, and he was just displayed on transformers.com's preview page.

I believe what Silverbolt is saying is:

Hopefully the series after Energon follows the same continuity of Armada/Energon. If it does continue in the same continuity, I don't want to see Unicron again. There'd have to be something totally different.

what, I don't get any props?! :tftounge
