i keep hearing about Transformers: Cybertron. What is it? A book, toyline or cartoon? Anything on this would be nice thanks :tfevil

It is the rumored title of the next series after Energon.

As such, it is likely nothing but concept at this point, as there are supposed to be 52 episodes of Energon (or thereabouts, last I read).

Coincidentally, it is also the title of some fanfic somewhere.

You notice the stupid titles they're using nowadays? Beast Wars, Machine Wars, Beast Machines,Armada, and Alternators are good titles. However, Robots in Disguise, Energon, and Cyberton just take things from the first show and add them on as subtitles...kinda dumb don't ya' think?

RID might be a little dumb, but I think Energon and Cybertron work pretty well.

Oh so now Transformers are going to change every year like Power Rangers? Not sure I like that. Have to wait and see I guess.

50+ episodes is at least 2 seasons.

well yea I just hate the stop and going. But it well probably blow Energon out of the water like it did for Armada. So I will with hold my thought for now. Thanks for the help.

nice pic of the upcoming fig, looks great. But as for the titles, seems like the TF franchise will milk the name for all its worth.

Armada was 52 episodes guys and had a lifespan of about a year... so that seems to be about the length of life for a TF show now days. Hopefully Cybertron follows in the same contuinity as Energon and forms a nice three year story arc.

New title doesn't matter...it's like chapters in a book...but if they DO keep a real time line going, that would be nice. If Cybertron follows this storyline, coolness. If it's just another series...eh...It's like with Gundam doing the 0079, Z, then ZZ...all in the same story...
