Usually the Decepticons are bigger like brainreese said. So it shouldn't bother any one. Every one thinks stuff will bother them until it's released then they sing a different tune.

I agree whole heartedly, they would more than tower over the current alts if we got 1/24 planes, they would be about 6ft at that scale ;) You dont appreciaite how big planes are 1/64 macross towers over the alts

I'd kill for Starscream in Alternators, in 1/24 scale.

 

But then again, I don't forsee them ever putting out a $60-70 transformer anytime soon, let alone the space requirements.

Aren't we due for a new prototype. Swindle and Grimlock are really close to release and I'm pretty sure Windcharger and B Ravage are close behind that. So, what is next.

Next up would be the inevitable remold of Meister (already found listed in Wal*Mart's computers a while ago), and probably the rumored Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution.

Everybody agrees that HAstak has to do something about getting new licences for Alt/Bt toys, question is why isn't it happening and why do we have to get the same toy again and again?

Why? The Alternators are basically more mature toys than the rest of the line. Why not build monster sized TFs? ;) I'd draw the line at Aircraft carriers, but damn, wouldn't it be bad ass to have an oversized TF Alternator Apache helecopter on your shelf?

I say the hell with getting new licenses the vehicle designs from the original G1 characters are now in public domain so just use them. All they have to do is not put the original company's logo on the alt modes :mwahaha

There is such a thing as creative license. ;) But as to the comment about a 6 foot tall Jet TF? Nah. Look at the size of your Alts now, then look at a picture of a car next to a F16. The most you'd have is 3 feet of jet TF. And that would be bad ass. And the way they can design it you can get the jet TF down to just 1 1/2 feet if some of the parts are decor, like a cape or armor.

 

And hey, they released the 20th Ann Optimus Prime at $75 or more. And people still bought it.

Smokescreen got remolded into Silverstreak. The 2004 "Smokescreen GT" update was a Japanese exclusive release.

Side Swipe got remolded into Dead End.

Hound got remolded into Swindle.

Tracks got remolded into Battle Ravage.

Meister is going to get remolded too.

As is Grimlock.

And Windcharger/Overdrive.

 

I don't really see one particular toy being released "again and again", honestly...
