I say the hell with getting new licenses the vehicle designs from the original G1 characters are now in public domain so just use them. All they have to do is not put the original company's logo on the alt modes :mwahaha

I didn't say to deviate from the real scaled cars, but if they went with older cars where the designs are in public domain. They could actually use the original alt modes for the characters with the size and posablity of the alts/bt figures.
