Just bought a complete, boxed Convertors Omegatron, and last fall picked up the Guardian version.

SO I spent about 2 hours digging through my storage locker trying to find the other variant of Omega not many people have seen before. (I am told there is 1 other variant out there, but it sounds like Omegatron with chrome parts thrown in for flavor)

I used to consider this other KO version as the Guardian robot, but the official release is true to the character.

It came in a box, much like the original MECHABOT 1, that says "COSMOS ROBOT" on the front. It's all in English.

If I have more time later, I'll post picts of the boxes.

Check em out. My sore back says you're welcome.

Please take a shot of that GORGEOUS chrome one in its full base altmode..

That blue and white was is nice......I want 1 now.

Spent at least an hour and 1/2 transforming the 3 variants and taking a bunch of picts. (don't have the rest of Omega's tracks on hand, locked up somewhere)

As requested, here's the blue/chrome one first.

Don't be fooled by the box this came with, it shows the black and red "Mechabot" but this blue/chrome version came in this KO box.

Here's more of the Convertors Omegatron

some more

Never thought I would say this but that Chrome one sh@'s all over the Official Transformers. Is that like the ""Diaclone"" version, IE the original design?

Chrome version is a KO actually. (note the screw holes on the arms are facing FWD in robot mode - easy KO tell)

The black and red version is the US release under the Convertors line, which also has a bunch of KO's just like it minus the "TOY BOX" copy on the back. The black and red "MECHABOT1" was the original version of Omega before he was drafted into the TF line as Omega Supreme.

There is 1 more variant and the "FreakBot" voltron 1&2 and Omega hybrid, it's something like the black and red version but has chrome parts also.

Omega was part of the toy box series, I believe that also gave us Shockwave. Neither were Diaclone, more Pre-Transformers.

Enjoy!
