Consensus of Fragile Transformers

I got a G1 Thunderclash this week. The figure was still on the insert. I transformed him once and put him on a shelf. I went to go move him right now and his chest piece just came off in my hand :tfsad

It's an easy to see GPS issue. It just sucks, this thing was alot of money and effort to get

That is the risk of buying vintage figures I guess. Still, it does suck.

-if anyone has leads on just the forward cab section for this figure (that isn't MW Prime) PM me.

i feel your pain leige...slog from monstructor feel apart....just feel apart...no playing with..no touching...sitting on the shelf...minding his own business.....i happen to look over...and monstuctor is in 3 pieces....god GPS sucks....i was able to replace him....but im afraid its gonna happen again....boo...

I just wanna find a replacement cab, put this guy on a shelf, and never touch it again.

The whole thing feels brittle, and I have a feeling the feet are gonna do the same thing as I here something rattling around in there.

I wanted this figure over MW Prime cause it was the first release and rare, however with a leson learned, I'd probably recomend MW Prime as it uses little to no gold plastic.

I am weary of all clear based parts, especially after stealth lockdown's hand breaking. I have noticed the clear parts on sideways and deadend are easily stressed, so I am going to have to be especially careful with them.

The roof section on my Sideways broke off. It was my fault, though, that figure ground against my OCD like you wouldn't believe. I just had the uncontrollable urge to twist and tear that thing apart. And I did.

I got my Skyhammer, Roadblock & Black Shadow last week and Im scared to death of messing with them. I tried to transform Black Shadows inner robot but was to afraid Id break off the arms! Skyhammers feet had to be flat so I could display him standing vertical in humanoid form so I about had a heart attack prying them out...I sucessfully got them out but it was almost like the plastic had fused together the sole and heal a little...I didnt even take the inner robot out of Roadblocks shell because the whole thing is gold plastic and it is well protected in there so scew that...

Nothing broken so far fortunately but Im not going to play with them...besides Ill just stare t them, they look so antiquish to me...
