Hasbro to Re-Issue Blaster as San Diego Comic-Con 2010 Exclusive!

Recommended Posts

Heh, another reissue I'll probably lose out on due to it being an "exclusive"

Well based on last year's exclusive, just go to hasbrotoyshop.com

It's not always that easy though! They will have them in stock for maybe a full day, then will be out for a couple weeks...then MAYBE get a small restock, but it's hit or miss. You really have to check daily which can be a pain. If it's something that is less popular (like some of the Titanium repaint exclusives they've had at past SDCC) then they stay in stock longer, and it's not that hard, but Blaster will be just like Soundwave on the demand scale.

It was easy for me :D There is also BBTS... which currently DOES have SDCC Soundwave in stock for $90. Would you rather pay $20 more or lose quiet possibly your last chance to own that set?

I wanted the Soundwave set, but since I got the TRU one and already have the cassettes, I passed.

I can understand that being annoying though with the figure drifting in and out, and they normaly do much better with the SDCC sets.

I do want to have a boxed Blaster for the MIB collection. If I can't get it off HTS or a resonable reseller (Nemesis Prime for $20 shipped while the convention was going hell yeah), I'll just have to cough it up as a loss. I have the G1 figure, as well as most of his tapes and I won't pay the BBTS mark up.

Hope Takara does another cassette mission with the combiners. If that happens then I may have hope for another set featuring Dial, Zaur, and the rest of those pieces.

maybe just maybe Blaster will come out to Hasbro's site just like Soundwave did

Is it my imagination or did Rewind miss the boat on this release.

I got lucky and nabbed the Soundwave set on HasbroToyShop. Hope I get lucky this time too. I would KILL to have the dino-combiner-cassettes reissued. I cant find any of them anywhere.

So prob the same price as SDCC Soundwave, about $70 was it? It'll be a reach, but I'll try to get it on HTS.com if I can afford it. That's how I got Alternators Rodimus. When's SDCC again?

Soundwave was about $54 after tax.

SDCC usualy hits late april early may I believe

Late June to late July, usually around the 3rd week of July. And yes Hasbro's exclusives always go on their site after.

I knew I was off by a bit.

Now I'm trying to figure out what happens mid spring?

Dairy-Con, Chicago-Con or the New York show ???

Not sure, always wanted to go to these but haven't so far. Very close to the 1st 2 so I don't have an excuse except $$$ :tfevil
