which counteracts your argument that the rights were so spread that they had little to know say concerning Marvel, Sunbow, Ladybird and so on.

Even worse, it puts me right back in the circle.

Sorry but when I buy a figure, I make up my own for it and completely dismiss all that tomfool and nincompoopery.

I just don't need it, if they can't get their story straight, and all it takes is one new writer to flip it when they do, why should I bother. I have a 25yr long story that needs no multiverse, retcon, dismisal, or restart.

I think I'm fine on my own.

No, it doesn't. Sunbow, Marvel, Ladybird were all licensees. They all had to communicate with Hasbro, but not with each other. Back in the '80s, Hasbro chose to give them pretty much free reign, but they still had final approval. Now, Hasbro exercises much greater control in the direction of the franchise. They've still chosen to maintain a multiverse rather than throw away 25 years worth of material. You want a single continuity where everything fits together perfectly. Well, that's not going to happen. The franchise was never designed to be like that. It has always been designed as a multiverse. This is very common with these kinds of properties, including Marvel and DC, among others. Transformers is deliberately structured this way. Every franchise is set up differently depending upon how the owner of the franchise decides to run it. The more licensees involved, the more discrepancies can occur and the more likely it is to be a multiverse. FI you think Transformers continuity is screwed up, try Doctor Who. "Canon" and "continuity" are a foreign concept there.

Oh comeon... i thought my Tramp-Unicron + Leige = Primus was an awesome analogy when you consider their approach to their cannon/fan fic and discussions. Someone give me some credit here. MEee mmee MEEE!! I shall raise a legend of followers and find this primus, and then I will hold the ultimate power of the universe. Muaahahahahaaaaa. *crickets*

ROFLMAO!!!!! :rofl :rofl :rofl

ROFLMAO!!!!! :rofl :rofl :rofl
