After several months, I seriously doubt they will accept that.

What he's saying is that he wants to go buy a new Side Swipe, put his modded one in the box, then return it like it's the one he just bought.

If that is what you really intend to do, it is damn wrong. Karma man, it will bite you in the arse.

Even though i can transform it the same way it just feels like it's broken or something. well thanks for the insight i will just live with it.

Is the mod obviously shouting its presence, or is it just blending in with the general figure itself. Based on that, if the mode was hugely obvious, then I'd just get a new one and keep the old one for spare parts or extra mod purposes. If it isn't that obvious, then see if you can return/exchange it for a different one.

The mod is a simple cut-out where the trunk swings on the hinge-arm.

And having done that, he cannot (legally) return it, 'cause he's had the thing for too long AND it is not a factory-defect. It is a user-inflicted alteration, which voids any warranty.

Regardless, the change is not obvious in "regular" bot mode or alt mode--heck, it's not even obvious in alternate bot mode. :)

What I don't get is why you feel like it's "broken". The mod does not affect the toy or its transformation in any way at all, and it's really how TakBro should have molded it in the first place.

If you no longer like the alternate bot mode, just transform it normally.
