G1/RID/Universe Bruticus -- worth it?

It all depends on if you are a completist or not... take a look at this.

This was taken over a year ago, that's why the 2 Camo Ruinations aren't in the pic. :tfgrin

Pardon my ignorance, but who is the second from the left? I know who all the other ones are.

That one is the first repaint of Bruticus, A very rare Japanese version called "Battle Geia".... VHTF

Oooooooooooooo Yeah. I remember now. He came out at the same time as Guard City, Metrotitan, etc...

Thanks,

If you have the patience, try pieceing him together one limb at a time. You'll spend more in shipping, but then again the whole complete thing might be even more expensive. And of course, you dont necessarily have to pick RID or any other theme and stay true to it. Use a G1 Swindle, RID Blastoff (Movor, I think), G2 Vortex etc. But beware of knockoffs.

Heres Rollbar and Armorhide, but with some other RID stuff you may not want. But the beginning price is right, just resell the junk on Ebay..

See, it can be done.

Um.. this was kinda more an "in the future" thing, as I have about 3-4 bucks to my name after my recent buyting spree. ;)

Well, if you wanna finish him cheaply, go to Big Lots and get the generic Ruination two-packs for the limbs or look for the complete ruination k/o... the limbs are of decent enough plastic and should hold together nicely with an actual Mega Octane. Otherwise I'd try and hold out for either an original G1 Bruticus or get the urban-camo release, but you can get a complete KO ruination for between $5-10 easily.

silly turbine Metrotitan was Zone, Battle Geia was Operatrion combination

Heh. Perhaps I'm weird in this regard, but I don't buy knockoffs or bootlegs. Never have.

The closest I'm gonna get to that is swapping out my 20th anniversary Prime's smokestacks when those are finished.
