Those clear rubber bands they use.

That's pretty cool how you hang them up, but I'd be too concerned with them falling to ever try that. Especially the pricier stuff like those G1 figs.

Me, I just keep all packaging for a couple weeks to a month in case I need to make a return, then I throw it out except the box. Some times, these things can be on in such a way that I just cant get them off without cutting them, though. In that case, it goes right in the trash...

Goktimus... can i haz ur BW figs plz? :D

The G1 figures aren't that high off the ground.

As far as the newer figures. I worry a bit, but when you've been doing this for a while, that fear starts to dwindle. Besides, everyone just standing there is boring. I want stuff like this.

please note this pic is old, all the 2.0 Classics are in there now and Magnus is in his armor, 11 feet off the ground :D

All these were just possition and balance. I'm just saying, if your gonna open a figure, no point in being afraid of it. Mine as well enjoy it!

If simple things like paper clips and rubber bands can give them that much more life, why not do it?

Standing around may be "boring" but it's practical. The problem for me with dioramas is that:

a. They take up more space.

b. It's more effort to take toys out to play with them and put them back.

I shelve my toys for storage and easy access; as I said before, even back in 1984 I never wanted to keep my TFs in a toy box and rummage through various other toys just to get them -- TFs were too important for that.

Those are some pretty cool poses you've made there Evilmus. :) I also occasionally like to make some action pose shots, especially those that require careful balance.

Just had to get them started with the dancing didn't you!

The displays do take up room, but alot of times they're also very creative solutions for that issue. If not for set ups, I'd be even more out of shelf space :P

I sadly don't have time like I use to to spend in that room, but the figures are still easy to get to. I'll pop in every now and then, grab on or two and take them in another room with me. when they start to build up, I knock them in a empty 12pack box, and toss that back in the room. When those build up, I get all the fun of starting a new display.

It's the best of all of it :D

What is that black figure at the bottom left?

Cybertron Crosswise. I think thats his name. Real fun figure. He was repainted into a Smokescreen, a couple BC Shattered Glass guys, and Walmart Jolt in TF1. Only downside is skinny legs.

Oh yeah. I have the Smokescreen repaint... Actually, I don't care much for him. I just hate the assgun, lolz.
