According to Michael Bay's official website administrator, the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen sold four million (! -ed) copies of the film on DVD and Blu-ray. This figure is unconfirmed, but "nelson" claims he has received emails from individuals in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York City, and Houston who were going to purchase the home media at their local retailers only to find them sold out. Have you encountered this at your own local store, too? Let us know! <br />

:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

I got my copy and am amazed by all the little details I missed out on in the theater and download.

Very happy to own it, and currently I have the 86 movie in the transforming Prime case, TF1 in the BBcase, and TF2 in the Megatron case.

I represent 2 of those numbers. Bought the BR version at Wally and the BB case at Target. Paid less for the BR than the DVD... go fig

I was intending to buy the BB case DVD, but ended up just buying the regular 2 DVD set instead... I did download the IMAX Blu-Ray rip. It looks awesome! They gave Prime the business.

Picked up my Target Bumblebee edition Tuesday morning at about 10am...was amazed at how many various versions of the movie were flying off the shelf! It was interesting because women would walk right by and hardly even glance, but almost every man (of any age too!) who walked by stopped to look, then picked out a version to buy. It's amusing how the haters are such a minority. :tfsad

One wonders - are the 'haters' a minority, or is it perhaps simply that the Revenge of the Fallen fans are more vocal?

And this just in, 4 million people actually enjoy being entertained by giant alien robots. ;)

It's funny, so far ROTF is still the top grossing US domestic film of 2009 by a landslide. For such a 'crap' film (as I get told IRL) it sure pulls in the money :lol
