I think that part of the problem here is that one can quantify the number of Revenge of the Fallen fans by simply counting DVD and and Blu-ray sales; however, the same is not necessarily true of the film's critics and detractors. Furthermore: even if the so-called 'haters' do constitute some sort of minority, why do we care? It appears that the argumentum ad populum is rearing it's head for the nth time.
