MIB or Loose? That is the question

My collection has actualy become a factor in apartment hunting.

Depending on the character, I keep the box.

My collection has actualy become a factor in apartment hunting.

My collection is absolutely a factor when it comes to choosing housing. When I was engaged I intentionally chose a 2 bedroom flat - one bedroom for my fiancée/wife (we still lived that flat for a while after getting married) and another for my computer and Transformers collection. Afterwards we bought our first home where we live now, and for that we knew that we needed at least a 3 bedroom home; one for us, another as a guestroom and future kid's bedroom and the third for the Transformers, which is our current setup. :)

My Transformers room is exclusively used for my Transformers collection only. There's nothing in there that isn't Transformer related; no bed, no computer etc. There's lots of floor space in it for me to get down and play. :D

Atm we only have 1 baby who still sleeps in our room, but the guest room will become her room in the future. My wife once asked me what would happen if we ever decided to have a 2nd child. I told her that we'd either buy a double bunk bed or move to a four bedroom house. :) My Transformers will always have their room. :D

Dam Straight. Last year when I was looking for a house, a large semifinished attic was on the list. My goal was to evolve into a whole TF floor.

That dream is just temporarily defered.

Hahaha, my collection is quite big enough yet to warrant an entire floor. I one guy who has a large basement room for his collection of over 2500 Transformers. :)

A TF room is not enough anymore, and 2500 figures is something I passed a while ago.

Now I can keep getting creative with cluttered shelving, which is causeing alot of my displays to suffer.

OR I can spread out to shelves and tables. Display my MIB collection, and have all my jets and what not flying from the rafters!

:mwahaha :mwahaha :mwahaha :mwahaha :mwahaha :mwahaha

I can't wait for that day!!!

Hmmm would an attic be better than a basement? Pros and cons when it comes to natural disasters.

How about thumbtacking the carded figures to the ceiling? Surround your TV with your MISBs so that all you will see is a screen and TF boxes. Maybe build a wall/montage of boxed figures and use all the red/purple box ones to create an Autobot/Decepticon logo? Thats what Brian Boitano would do.

I fear basements. I've had many a basement apartment and know that fear to be just. So my prefrence would be an attic. Less utilities, less traffic, less everythink as young as your roof is good.

As for the MIB collection. I hate having it packed away, but hey, there's only so much shelf space.

What I'd like to do is one giant self ring with all those nice new boxes set up. I've had bad experiences with thumb tacked carded figures, so they would be displayed same as any boxed figure.

I got it all planned out in an awesome nonfigure skater kinda way :mwahaha

older stuff w/ nice boxes sell for more. that should be an indicator.

if that's not a factor, keep the art u like, dump the rest
